the best thing you can do for your education is be kind to yourself

I hate ANY toxic/mean motivation so much. "You dont want to study because youre tired? Study tired." No? You a) wont learn anything (much probably) b)will give yourself a headache and you'll be dissapointed in yourself.

Especially: if you're sick, YOU DONT NEED TO LEARN. YOURE SICK, GET A TEA AND SLEEP. It can wait.

i genuinely feel like a failure…ive been working so hard AND have a full time job, what do you mean a 77.65%…i feel terrible

how do you deal with a professor that doesn't give you any kind of instruction or assignments and just throws exams at you? i even cross checked my answers with my notes and i somehow got a 77.61%. this professor claims that "all college science courses are like this" and that there is no review, no assignments, nothing. our "homework" she assigned us was a single true/false question about the olympics. what does that have to do with biology? i'm so over it. i've studied my ass off and this is what happens.

hello i would like everyone to know that sometimes you can sob your eyes out and have an existential crisis one moment and then suddenly you're booking your driver's test and applying for jobs and crocheting a blanket and maybe life isn't so bad anymore!! maybe you can feel awful and fix your life anyway!! maybe you're allowed to be a wreck and still be good enough!! i am a full on adult and have avoided getting my license for years but now i'm finally doing it because i've grown around the fear!!!! the world didn't crash and burn when i was fifteen!! i did this for myself and i'm going to be okay!!
