I want Dazai to go back to the mafia, but not in a normal way. I want him to fake his suicide and work undercover for the mafia while the ADA is still recovering and then the ADA receives a case and the one behind it all was Dazai. And Atsushi is like: “You’re alive, please come back to us!” and tries to hug Dazai but Dazai shoves him off and says something like: “I never actually cared about you” but he doesn’t actually think it. In reality he left the ADA because he realized he was just following Oda’s ideals and what Oda wanted him to be. Afterwards he has an identity crisis and realizes the light doesn’t fit him and that the only place where he will truly be accepted as himself is the mafia.
