note: This is just a short preview for AiW pt3. I know I left things on a terrible cliffhanger a few months ago. Life got extremely and unexpectedly hectic, but things are starting to get a little bit better, and I hope to get the full chapter out next month. Leave or stay? Leave or stay? Leave or stay? The decision should have been harder, or at the very least leaving should have been an option that was considered more heavily. After all, there was technically nothing wrong with this situation. This was his apartment and you weren’t supposed to be moving in for a few days, so in theory this was perfectly understandable — But plans change.

Classes get cancelled. Move in dates get pushed up. You walk in on your ex-boyfriend turned current fake boyfriend mid-fuck. So yeah, leaving was probably the more appropriate response… But the declaration of “Well, honey, I’m home now,” forced its way past your lips regardless; the door closing behind you and marking your choice to stay.

Summary: han always makes excuses to go to the clinic to see reader, but a reversal of roles occurs and he just might kiss it better. 

Genre: fluff; is heart-pounding a genre??

perhaps you got more than you bargained for when you signed up to be a student volunteer at your school’s clinic. but to be fair, it did look promising. 

it gave you extra credit on your report card, added into your community service hours and gave you a chance to feel like you were somehow helping people.

what you failed to realise was that it took up a lot of your time- staying in the clinic during lunches, giving up your free periods during the day, and always accompanying every single sport team when they had to go to their games. so your days dragged on, surrounded by the nurses who were all in their late 30′s, either stuck in the corner reading a book when no one came in, or conversing with the patients that came in. 

it’s senior year, you said to yourself. just one last lap.

needless to say, your routine became totally, completely, and absolutely boring.

“uhm, h-hello?” a voice squeaked from the entrance to the clinic. it was lunch time, so all the nurses were either at the canteen buying their food, or out eating lunch. which left you to your own devices, doing your math homework and sipping on a juice box all cramped in the corner, looking more like a patient than a student volunteer. 

han stumbled in the clinic, looking like a lost, wounded puppy. you still hadn’t noticed his presence as your vision was clouded with the logarithmic functions in front of you.
