CONFESSION :: Roleplayers over 25 need to move on from this site and this hobby.

You whippersnappers, with your formatting and your fancy themes. Why when I first started we only had 6 icons! We were grateful when we got the option to have 15! There was none of this putting them in the posts. If you wanted more you had to pay for that shit. Some places you only had a signature to put ONE fancy picture! And we had to go uphill in the snow both ways for dial up!  

Okay that last one was a lie, but dial up was pretty awful. Seriously though the person who submitted this sounds horribly immature, deliberately trying to stir up unnecessary drama, and worst of all makes younger RPers look very bad by association. Someone get them a juice box and a nap, while those of us that are grown up enough to understand that humans don’t have a best by date for hobbies like writing and using social media and keep on having fun. Maybe they’ll realize that people over 25 are the ones that built and maintain the site. 

Really though, there’s assholes that think people should stop reading comics past a certain age, or enjoy Disney films, or be Harry Potter fans, or this or that or whatever. Who fuckin cares. My fellow 25+ RPers, and those of you getting close, don’t let something as silly as this ruin your day or your experience, or even your opinion of younger writers or else the would-be Gatekeepers Of Fun will win.
