She unsettled him, every ounce of him, and he wasn’t sure why. Something about the woman put him on edge and kept him there.

“Then what do you want? It’s late and  I have many more important things to  do than be bothered by you.”

         ❛ Smart one, you are. They said that              about you. You know, you’ve got a              whole f i l e on you? Although, knowing              your INTELLECT, I’m sure you figured              that much.

             But I’m neither, if you must know.            NO ONE is here to kill && no one is              here to recruit your help. ❜

     A riveting giggle was obligatory in this situation, as the      man had fully geared himself with guns blazing. Well, NOT      every gun of his, that is.

“As kind as that is of you to say, Tony,  You’re wrong, and you know you are.  There is innocent blood on these hands,  I’m a monstrous as it gets.”

"This is crazy! You don’t chase criminals! You’re not Batman!"

“It wasn’t my intention but if I hadn’t gone after them, who would? We’re supposed to be Avengers.”

“In my line of work you quickly learn some things.  Women you’ve never met trudging through your  things either meant they were trying to recruit you,  or kill you. If it’s the former, I’m fine where I am  and if it’s the later, you can’t. I’ve tried.”

Ida wasn’t too sure her position here, but orders were barked, and Ida squared off with yet another stranger.
