the existence of Mr for men, Mrs / Ms for women and Mx for nonbinary implies the existence of at least 23 other genders: Ma, Mb, Mc, Md, Me, Mf, Mg, Mh, Mi, Mj, Mk, Ml, Mm, Mn, Mo, Mp, Mq, Mt, Mu, Mv, Mw, My, Mz

however, I think "Ma" can also be feminine (Ma Jenny is just short for Mother Jenny), and "Mq" is for a noble title (Marquess, like the Mq de Sade), and Mc is for Scots from Scotland and food from McDonald's. And My is just a possessive pronoun. So those probably aren't their own genders in the way that Mh clearly is.

So, we can conclude that roughly 22 total genders exist, but we can't be certain. For example, Mf clearly stands for Motherfucker, but that doesn't prove anything, since an estimated 16% of people would identify with and use the title Motherfucker. In addition, Mm can be a French title for Madame or Mademoiselle, but it is unclear whether this means Mm is just another female/feminine title or whether a French is a kind of gender. I saw some people say that we’re not valid, and it made me upset. I know others have seen this too. Aces! You’re totally awesome. Aromantic people are loved and appreciated! People who are aromantic but want relationships are welcome here! Aces who never want sex or enjoy it are valid. Agender people look stunning today. Aplatonic people are super cool! Polyaffectionate people are incredibly valid. A spec people who are still lesbian or bi or pan or any other orientation are great! All of you deserve a place in the community!

Tumblr reblog chains are in danger.

It seems that the staff is actually going to go forward with their decision to remove reblog chains, where reblogs will basically work like regular comments on other websites.

This doesn't just make the site completely unusable, it removes the soul of the community that has managed to build up here over the years, and that I'm so happy to have recently joined.

It makes impossible the creation of great posts where many people build up a single thing, until it is a gem of expressed human creativity.

There will be no more world heritage posts, no more messing around with your mutuals, no posts worth remembering.

There will be no more Tumblr, and the Tikblr or TumbTube or whatever monstrosity is born from its corpse will soon die, as is probably the best. And then there will never be another place like this on the internet, no place anymore to run to, no more fun, no more community.

I recommend a simple course of action. When these changes get imposed upon us, stop using Tumblr. Get your mutuals' discords, your favourite artists' websites, and leave. If the Tumblr we have once known returns, we well too. If not, better let it die quickly than suffer a long and painful decline.

I beg you to reblog this, for the more people see it, the higher chanses are for this to work.

And add something, so we can show them what Tumblr is really for.
