I used to be very active in the self ship community back in 2018 and 2019. It was so welcoming back then, and there were multiple events happening regularly where everyone could join, have fun, and spread joy to others. I used to host a couple of events as well! However, it seems like after the pandemic, the community has changed dramatically. I was inactive for a few years due to IRL stuff and tried to come back and start fresh, but the community is just not the same anymore. It seems like people have forgotten to show love, patience, and inclusivity, and are more busy excluding people, or even stalk and harass people, over the pettiest things. I still self ship of course, but to return to a community which seems to have lost its heart and identity is just sad to watch. I might just stick to self shipping in private and with my friends at this point.

I would hype it up more but this is really really simple. It randomly generates a set of symbols, colors, and a word, and then the expected thing to do with those is you draw some sort of character based off the result you get. So it's just an art challenge toy thingy.

There are also some practical features like you can lock parts of the result in place to rerandomize the rest, or hide parts of the generation you don't care about (like if you want to pick your own colors or hate the words being there)

It should run in browser, but there's also a downloadable version for Windows if you want to use it offline. (No mac/linux versions for now, because I don't have appropriate computers to test those on and I...don't want to deal with mac's developer accounts or whatever their problem is...)

So who is ready to crash a streaming site through sheer numbers this october 18 watching The Edge of Sleep? WE ARE.

EPISODE 3 SPOILERS

Not usually one to put anything other than art here but

Goose has stated Jax would get worse as episodes go on; in episode 3 he's already lacking a bit of his usual lazy sarcasm, instead opting for sharper jabs and mocking comments.

The adventure starts out pretty good for him; he gets some bullying in and even causes Pomni and Kinger to take the scary door.

Cut to later, and he's abruptly been tied up. We can assume this is so he couldn't harm the friendly ghost who they run into.

I bring this up because even if it hasn't been strictly stated, I think it's safe to assume bullying is a sort of coping mechanism for Jax. Later, he tries to get a rise out of Pomni but she ignores him entirely. He leaves after this.

With Goose claiming he'd get worse, I think the reason ties into the rest of the cast either ignoring or prohibiting him entirely from causing mayhem. He can't cope, and so he becomes more irritable and standoffish. Goose also said he'd get worse and worse, insinuating he'll end up doing something awful. Maybe this will end up in abstraction for either one of the cast members or even himself.
