spooky plot idea. our muses despise each other but are in the same friend group. the group decides to go on a haunted cabin trip for the weekend. our muses try to avoid each other or bicker the whole time. but then night comes. one of our muses is lowkey terrified of ghosts/supernatural things and is up all night. the other muse bumps into them at night because they’re kind of an insomniac. at first they’re kind of messing with them but it’s like, oh, you’re genuinely scared. never seen you vulnerable before. maybe they let down their guard. maybe they bond. or maybe they just explore the grounds and fight all night. 

ugh , give me an actual enemies to lovers plot please . i’m not talking ‘ we hate each other and fall in love over time ’ , those are great too sometimes but what i really want is : ‘ i fucking despise you so much i can feel every fiber of rage in my being . i want you in the grave . i can’t stand being around you for five seconds ’ ( with long - distance glares , knives at each other’s throats , annoying banter , cat and mouse antics , rough hate s*x ) then ‘ maybe i don’t want you in the grave . you’re still really annoying though . ’

carlos’s expression softens as he looked at her , a familiar warmth in his eyes that comes from years of being married. ‘ jill , you’ve never embarrassed me ... not once. ’ his voice firm but tender , the way it always is when he needs to remind her of something she seems to forget. he steps closer , reaching out to steady the punching bag that sways between them. ‘ you don’t need to do this alone , you know ? i’ve always been here , you just need to talk to me. ’ sigh slips passed his lips , hand lingering on the bag for a moment before he lets it drop , his gaze still fixed on her. ‘ they’ve got me running around on god knows what. they’re tight - lipped as usual. ’ he shrugged , trying to inject a bit of lightness into his tone. ‘ but that doesn’t change anything. ’

" it felt embarassing , she worried that she embarassed him --- like she was some child that needed to be hand held through the day . turning to face him , the punching bag lightly swings and taps the hand she'd pushed back to catch it with a soft thud . " still got a few things to do ? they won't tell me what they've assigned you too these days . "
