After about two and a half hours, Adam came up to the hotel and walked up to the room number he was told.

He shifted his bag, grunting quietly as he held the drink and bag of seemingly food all in one hand, not able to do much with the other. He knocked weakly, and stood back

"Coming—" Came the muffled reply from behind the door. The sound of something shuffling followed, and then the door swung open. Specs stood there, bright-eyed and alert. The room behind him was surprisingly clean, given the person it belonged to.

"Hey, stranger. Make yourself at home." Specs beamed.

"That's Jersey for you." Specs mused. He went quiet for a moment, gathering his thoughts before speaking again, slower. "The.. The case itself is fairly cut and dry.. I just have to gather enough evidence to get a warrant for the Church to get involved.."

It's going very well, thank you for asking! Just settled in for a night of research surrounding my current case and.. Well, just research, really.

"Ghosts. Right. Uhm— I wrote up a summary of the case if you'd like to go over it." Specs dropped a few papers onto Adam's lap, which of course had been stapled together. "Or you can go in blind, too. That's always fun.. The summary includes stuff about the original crime and the life of the spirit we're tracking."
