Breaking Tumblr Anonymity To Share Some Exciting News With You All - This December, Ill Be Performing
Breaking Tumblr anonymity to share some exciting news with you all - this December, I’ll be performing in a production of William Gillette’s Sherlock Holmes at the Bridewell Theatre in London.
I’m playing a very disreputable sort and get to be thoroughly unpleasant to Mr Holmes and … just about everyone my character meets, actually. It’s only a small role, but if any UK-based Tumblrites fancied coming along to watch me beat up my hero, that would be lovely!

No, really, don't laugh...

What IS Mrs. Hudson's Battenburg recipie? I MUST know! -The ginger man with the mustache
Hello there, dear! It’s lovely to hear from you again. Thank you for your telegram dated 29th September. I’m sorry it’s taken such a long time to respond - as it transpired, Mr Holmes had been using it as a bookmark in Now, That’s What I Call A Gruesome Murder: Volume 32 and, as that particular installment runs to some 534 pages, he has only just finished reading it…
Now, to turn to your question - I’d be only too delighted to share my recipe! First of all, find a grown-up to help you (if you can’t find a grown-up, 3 Baker Street Irregulars stacked up on eachother’s shoulders should suffice) and follow my step-by-step guide, demonstrated below!

Happy anniversary, Mrs H!
Unbelievably, the Adventures of Mrs Hudson is now 2 years old! A big, big thank you to everyone who has stuck with this ridiculous idea for so long – I have so much fun drawing these, and it’s brilliant to have found a bunch of people who have a similarly silly sense of humour with whom to share them.
There are plenty more adventures yet to come…
Here’s to the next year!

I think we all know who’s really in charge here.
(Thank you all for your patience while I merrily throw the updating schedule out of the window! It’s lovely to be back.)
