Why is nobody talking about the fact that when Cinder tries to ambush Ruby we’re pretty much going to get that scene in The Magic of Pegasus except Ruby feels furious at Cinder for everything she’s done and tries to use her silver eyes to destroy her now that she knows it affects Cinder but it doesn’t work because Maria told her not to think of her power as a way of destroying evil? And then Cinder could pull a Wenlock and completely overpower Ruby so Neo can kill her since the one ace she had in her sleeve isn’t working because she’s trying to use it for something it wasn’t made for. Maybe at this point one of her friends (probably either Yang, Weiss, or the whole team) rushes in and Ruby sees Cinder rushing at them and that’s what triggers her silver eyes because she’s terrified that Cinder is going to kill them.
