We Put So Much Importance On Romantic Love In Queer Spaces That I Think We Can Forget About How Important
we put so much importance on romantic love in queer spaces that i think we can forget about how important queer friendships are. having queer friends makes it so much easier to accept yourself and learn to accept others. queer friendships have so much love stored in them

do y'all also have mutuals whom you’re actually a fan of? like everytime u see them on your dash u just,,,,, “u go mutual that’s my mutual!!!!! i love u mutual!!!! i can’t even believe we’re mutuals i don’t deserve u!!!! keep being u mutual!!!”
Imagine if classes were set up by autistic/ADHD people. Lectures would be recorded so that not only could people rewatch them, but they could pause it in case something distracts them or their brain starts trailing off. They could rewind if they missed stuff, speed it up or slow it down, etc. There would even be subtitles/a transcript.
Everyone would be given a copy of the slides, whether on an ipad, or printed out. Study guides that pointed out the types of information that are necessary (ex. Dates aren't on the test, only the name of the person and what they discovered, you don't need to memorize the actual order just the items, etc.)
Even though the lectures are videos, there would still be a classroom where everyone has headphones, optional fidget toys, different types of chairs, and teacher/teachers that help answer questions via a chat box feature that the student and teacher use (the teacher is at her desk on the laptop)
Due dates, the teacher's name, today's date, and a to-do list are all up on the board, and instead of a punishment for not getting homework done, the student is given a time to come to that class to do the homework they missed so they can have that environment and support.
The classroom itself would have soft light, especially sunlight from windows, and the school itself would have a counselor that can help people when they have panic attacks or other conditions.
The tests/homework are set up to be more visual, and open-ended. Rather than having things like true/false or multiple choice, the students have spaces to explain their thought process, and the tests have feedback.
Add more ideas if you want, also im just one person so what sounds good for me maybe not for everyone
WIP Intro

[ID: a cover mockup that reads "We Shall Be Fools by Oleg Bell" in white letters. The background is a solid dark green with parchment covering the bottom half. There is a sword with a branch wrapped around it and a realistic heart drawn on the parchment /end ID]
"Is there anything really impossible if you blackmail the gods properly?"
General information:
Title: We Shall Be Fools (working title, previously known as Just Your Typical Fantasy Story)
WIP tag: wip: wsbf
Type of story: a novel
Stage: drafting 1st draft, editing outline
Age group: Y/A, N/A, any age.
Genre: High Fantasy, epic fantasy, dark comedy.
Tropes: found family, people going against gods, nature and common sense (and winning), incredibly fucked-up creatures that are still nice, self-discovery that leads to corruption arcs.
Short pitch: A runaway teen noble masquerading as Dark Lord, a homunculus child, and a fired ex-God of Death navigate their way through wars, chaos, and divine affairs while trying to answer the questions: "can it be a crime to exist?", "what can one person do to save the world?", and, perhaps most importantly, "how does one obtain a gender?"
Characters (character intros will be under the WIP tag):
Heshiktow
The basics: deuteragonist, homunculus, 16 years old, any pronouns, biologically genderless, asexual panromantic.
Extra info: Heshiktow, also known as Heshi, is a sunshine child that has lived alone for most of the last four years. Their parents (the scientist couple that created them) disappeared to another dimension due to an experiment gone wrong and they're just been coping with the company of chimeras, books, and the god imprisoned in their basement. They are in dire need of a hug and a friend.
Rukard
The basics: protagonist, human, 19 years old, he/him, transgender, bisexual.
Extra info: the son of a Marquis and the nephew of the king, he has it pretty good socially, however, he has a tendency to play hero and end up in the center of all trouble. Completely devoid of common sense.
(ex)God of Death
The basics: supporting character, diety species, 300+ years old, He/Him or he/him, transcends gender, transcends sexuality.
Extra info: used to be the God of Death for the kingdom of Drognil until he was kidnapped and imprisoned by a couple of mad scientists to hide the fact that they've been stealing the souls of the deceased for their experiments. Has lived in their basement for the last 16 years. Unofficially adopted Heshi. Also known as Uncle God.
