More Posts from Any-mouse
Lots of Reddit threads on FFN recently having trouble.
Last May there were posts about FFN being abandoned. Anyone have links to those?
Reblogging for the people in the back.

Ahem, the Stratus Clan wander in and out of reality more than Noctis because they are doing it on purpose. If they ever find a Noctis first, particularly one that Wanders like they do, they may fist fight the Ulric for him.
Do you think Galahd has myths/folklore? Things likes selfies, fairies, nymphs and such?
Hmm, sort of? Galahd's oral histories are extremely accurate, even thousands of years later, so many tales that the rest of the world takes as myth/folklore the Galahdians regard as actual history. Galahdians lived as far back as the War of the Astrals, they remember Solheim's Betrayal and everything that followed, and those Tales still live on even if the original Clans who first sang them no longer exist.
That said, certain histories are perhaps, taken less seriously in modern years than they were centuries before. Such as certain Clan Tales, like the tales of Ulric Hunters taking the shape of coeurls or Furia Singers bewitching the unwary. The Keepers will always assure the skeptical that the tales are true, and indeed such Blessed individuals were capable of all that and more, but no Galahdian has possessed those Blessings since long before the Founder King and so many regard the stories as simply that - stories.
Those stories are the closest Galahd gets to tales of sirens and fairies and other humanoid creatures. Except for Messengers, but Galahdian tales are always pretty clear on which characters in a tale are divine as opposed to merely mortal.
And then the Starscourge appeared.
The most recent Galahdian myths of supernatural beings almost exclusively revolve around daemons. How to spot daemons, how to hide or run from them, how to fight them. How to avoid turning into a daemon yourself, and what to do if someone shows signs of being infected. After all, Galahd has no Havens, no Oracle or Blessed King to come to their aid. All they have are scattered temples that will keep daemons at bay, but not the infection itself.
I hc that daemons are... regional, for lack of a better term. Due to differing cultures, those of Leide will turn into different daemons than those of Galahd. Even in Galahd, different Clans see different types of daemons depending on which Clans inhabit a particular area.
One Galahd-specific daemon is the Baobhan Sith. In King's Speech, Galahdians translate it as 'the Green Woman', due to the long green dress the daemon wears. Baobhan Sith are beautiful women who charm their victims into overlooking their daemonic qualities - too pale skin, pitch black eyes, too sharp teeth and nails. They always wear long dresses - usually green, but not always so best be alert - to hide their spiracorn-like cloven feet. They are most commonly found in Tibiae and Canere territory, but have been sighted all over Galahd.
While Nagas are said to be formed from mothers who were subsumed by their grief for a lost child, Baobhan Sith are said to be women who were unable to cope with losing a romantic interest. Not to death, but to someone else, and so the jealousy has corrupted them.
A number of daemon myths paint them as Exiles - those who were thrown out and were transformed into daemons because of their corruption. Of course, Exiles are not to be interacted with or aided in any way, and so those that do not leave the islands find themselves with no support or security to fall back on, or even a safe place to spend the night, and as such are much more likely to become Scourge-infected and eventually turn into daemons.
@secret-engima any thoughts or hcs on your end?
Actually, I was more of thinking he focused on being just threatening enough that the Shattered focused on attacking him instead of his clan. Maybe a slightly older Uchiha with a bunch of youngish ones? Like, say, an Iruka aged Uchiha with a bunch of pre-mid teens, with Tobirama was just passing through. He wasn’t going to bother with them but…
Hey, before the Shisui general reveal in Pebble, does Tobirama ever feel an Uchiha Shattering on the battlefield and yeet himself over to deal with it? Just, from dealing with Shisui first hand he knows the initial Shatter passes, so he does his best to keep the Uchiha focused on him until he can knock them out so the clan can drag the Shattered One home. And since that dragged them away from the main battle, the Senju don’t realize it until the peace.
That would be *fascinating* but I don't think it's feasible, since to prevent a shattering an Uchiha requires someone they trust enough to use as an anchor, however temporarily, and Tobirama is. Well. A *Senju*. A very famous Senju. But it would be fun, and I *could* see a few specific circumstances where it could happen. I'll have to remember that for potentially later. :3
