Benjamin Meets Mordecais Family Once; When Mordecai Made An Effort To Visit Home During His Mothers Passing.

Benjamin meets Mordecai’s family once; when Mordecai made an effort to visit home during his mother’s passing. He and his Aunt Rosie got along the absolute best! Esther is not really a fan of kids so the relationship is cordial but kind. He only knew his grandmother for two days before her death but she was very happy to meet him, even briefly.

TW DEATH , TW MURDER
Mordecai was no longer in the business by this point. But as a final act of his former self, he went out on the eve of his mother’s death and killed his former adversaries that were keeping him from visiting. His worry was, if Benjamin ever sought to visit NY on his own, they might mistake him for Mordecai. Plus, the men seeking revenge on him were now significantly older than when they first encountered each other.
Because of social stigmas at the time, Mordecai essentially lied and said his wife had passed during childbirth.
Here’s an old drawing of Mordecai and Benjamin arriving to New York for the visit!

How do you draw so well on paper without getting frustrated with your own art? Bless me with a tip pls
I often draw very messily on paper. I just clean it up afterwards, either by erasing stray marks and guidelines and relining the drawing, or by scanning and doing digital touchups. Or I just leave some of the messiness there because sometimes that has more personality and charm than a pristine, polished drawing does. I am also in a near perpetual state of frustration with my art. I think that's normal for anyone doing any sort of creative work. Having to erase and redraw something, having to reconfigure your approach after trying and failing the first few times, having to relent and seek out some reference material - it's a confluence of frustration and challenge. As maddening as it can be, it's also part of what keeps things interesting. If it was all completely effortless, what satisfaction would there be in doing it?
I guess if there's a tip in here somewhere, it's to embrace frustration. If you're feeling frustrated, it's a good indication you have a critical eye for your own work and that you're venturing beyond your comfort zones. Both of those things are essential to improving. (That's not to say you should torture yourself. If you're so frustrated that your blood pressure is spiking, well, take a break, cool off, return after a refresh.)
Always happy to participate!

My Dungeons & Dragons group watching Dungeon Meshi/Delicious in Dungeon because a party member called out and we have a tradition of watching D&D media on days someone calls out:
Me: I wonder what race I would realistically be in that universe…
Friend with absolutely no hesitation: Half-foot.
Me: Really? Why?
Him: Because despite you turning 20 soon you still look like a 13 y/o boy.

As recompense for your crimes, I'm obliged to ask for 24 and 29 on the question sheet plz 😌👮♂️ (even when I had stolen it from someone else first 🤫)

Uh, yeah, my first q&a in Tracy's style (more or less)! For the record the first picture is my very first attempt at self insert in a comic, please don't be too harsh on me lol.
As pertaining the second question, no. 29, "What is the stupidest thing she has ever done because someone dared her to do it?", I didn't draw anything, but I'd say a large number of senseless endeavors with... you guessed it, the Savoy siblings, yet again. It's always them.
Of the likes of, throwing knives - only problem being, that Margo herself was the one having knives thrown at her like a circus performance. And she was giggling like a blushing schoolgirl, too. Or going rowing with a shirtless, barefoot Nicodeme in a swamp hosting crocodiles as its fauna. Or having voodoo love symbols carved in unnamable places of her body by an overeager Serafine (yes, I do will descend into further details about this in another post sooner or later).
But even after it all Marjorie's still alive and well, isn't she? And as they say, 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger'.
Or just batshit crazy in Margo's particular case, but she's not the only one. Margo, we feel you.
