Call Me Daddy

Pairing: Charles Blackwood x reader

Warnings: None really, Daddy kink mentioned, sex mentioned

a/n: I don’t know why but I struggled so hard with this.  I wanted to make it be so good, but it just doesn’t feel like it’s the best. I’m sorry.  Hopefully, you will like it.

Charles insisted that you always call him daddy, no matter the situation. You were just used to it at this point you didn’t think twice about it.

That’s how you found yourself in a peculiar and, yeah a bit uncomfortable situation. Charles was meeting your parents for the first time. They had been asking to meet him for some time, and after three months together, you decided it was time to give in. 

You gathered around the dinner table with Charles, your parents, sister and her family, and your brother.  Things were going great, everyone seemed to really like Charles, but then who wouldn’t with him being such a charmer. 

Everyone around the table was having different conversations, loudly until the moment happened. Charles leaned over and asked you to pass him the basket of rolls. Without thinking, you said, “Sure, daddy,” and reached for the basket. Everything came to a screeching halt, that you could hear a pin drop moment.

You couldn’t keep from blushing as you handed the basket over to Charles who was smirking.  You kicked him under the table and resumed your conversation with your nephew who was sitting next to you.  You mentally held your breath until finally conversation resumed.  

You made the mistake of glancing across the table and seeing your brother, sister and her husband barely containing their laughter.  You didn’t even chance a glance at your parents, not wanting to see their expressions.  You heard Charles talking to them as though nothing had happened. 

The rest of the evening went off without a hitch, your parents telling you as you were leaving how much they liked Charles and inviting you both back.  You settled into the car for the drive home, having gone a few miles lost in thought when Charles chuckled.

“What are you laughing about?”

“You should have seen your parents faces.”

“I’m very glad I didn’t, thank you very much.”

“Seriously, I think your mom-”

You cut him off quickly.  “If daddy wants to have any kind of sex ever again, he won’t finish that sentence,” you threatened.

You were having the best dream of your life before you were forcefully woken up by your insufferable brother who had apparently made a promise to himself not to let you be happy, even in your dreams.

The very familiar white hair falling over your face, tickling you as his deep whisper in your ear made you gasp, the warmth spreading from the pit of your stomach-

All before the door slammed open with a bang and the bliss disappeared like the flame of a candle in the storm.

“Good morning sister!” Fin’s loud voice reached you, making your eyes snap open and you tried to catch your breath, your heart still pacing. You could feel the burning in your cheeks but the happiness of the dream turned so sour so fast that it even gave you a head spin.

“What?!” you snapped, sitting up straight in the huge bed, and Fin tilted his head.

“Someone’s grumpy.”

“Your highness, I tried to stop him.” Cassandra said and Fin, the future king of the country, the man who would have to join wars and make very important decisions, pouted.

“Cassie likes me better than you.”

“I don’t appreciate being woken up like this,” you said through your teeth, still trying to come down from the dream, trying your hardest to ignore the goosebumps on your skin.

“You don’t want to see your favorite brother?”

“Tiernan is asleep.” You managed to snark and he gasped, his jaw dropping.

“You wouldn’t prefer that brat over me.”

“That brat is our brother.”

“Our brother who can’t talk yet,” he reminded you, “No reason to favor him.”

“I don’t know Fin, a brother who can’t talk sounds really good to me right now.”

“Why are you in such a pleasant mood?” he asked, and you kicked off the covers, then made your way to the window to open it wide, letting the breeze caress your skin. It felt good to the fire on your face when you remembered what the dream was about and you bit inside your cheek.

“I haven’t had much sleep last night.” You managed to say, “I had uh…. nightmares.”

“Of the curse?”

“Mm hm,” you nodded fervently, “Yeah. Absolutely. They- they were not pleasant at all.”

“I got that from nightmares.” Fin said, shooting you a look, “Perhaps you should go to the healer again.”

“Hm?”

“For your night terrors. Didn’t he give you something?”

“Lavender,” you said, “The scent is calming.”

“Tell him to give you something you can actually take, rather than smell.”

You leaned back to the window, crossing your arms. “Maybe.”

“And hey,” he took a step towards you, “Whatever you see at night…. You know that’s not real right?”

For some reason it hurt you more than it was supposed to, but you tried to smile.

“Yes,” you mumbled, “I know it can never be real.”

“Make Me” Alien/Reader

Characters: Male Alien/Female Reader Content: Lemon/NSFW, oral sex, PIV sex, Aliens scenting their mates, Word Count: ~5100

You’ve been working on a Qasallian starliner for a month, and you’re ready to go home. Still, you’ve got a job to do, learning about the large, bat-like Qasallians, even if they’re not making your job easy.

You’ve got datapads full of notes on what they look like. They’re humanoid in some ways; their bodies are basically human-shaped, with two legs,  and two arms. They have six fingers, and four large, clawed toes with a dew-claw type appendage at the back of each foot though. Their head is also human-like, though they’ve got oversized, bat-like ears, which can swivel to pick up sounds. Their eyes seem large in their faces, and apparently they change color with their moods. You haven’t seen this phenomenon yourself.

The two most remarkable differences between a Qasallian and a human are their wings and their tails. Their wings are membranes which match the color of their skin, and which most closely resemble bat wings. Their tails are a few feet long, with a small tuft of fur at the end.

If your job was writing about their appearance, you’d be done by now. But it’s not. You’re supposed to be writing about their culture, and there’s the problem. None of them will talk to you.

It would be much easier to do your job, you think, if the Captain hadn’t decided from your first day on the ship that he hated you. As soon as you’d set foot in the hangar where you’d been set to make introductions, he’d stiffened, and begun to glare at you. You didn’t know what you’d done, but it must have been egregious, because none of the crew would come near you. Offending the Captain of a spaceship was a surefire way to get ostracized.
