Bucky Barnes could blindly admit that fainting in front of you a week back hadn’t been one of his finest moments.

It had, however, been his most embarrassing one, and that alone said a lot given the excessive amount of borderline outrageous things he had managed to do in front of you.  

The incident hadn’t reduced his spot as the number one laughingstock of the Avengers; it had only earned him a crown. An actual crown which Tony specially designed for him and to say that Bucky wasn’t looking for an apartment elsewhere in the city would be a lie.

Bucky beamed with joy.

And it wasn’t only because he would be spending the entire day with you.

But because today would be different from all your previous encounters. The first significant difference would be that Bucky had weeks to prepare himself for your outing. The second difference would be as a result of that, he was calmer, steady, and feeling more like himself than he had in ages. The third and last difference would be the fact that to be calm, steady and feel more grounded he had nearly been down on his knees, begging Banner and the rest of the crew to find him something strong enough to contain his nerves for the entirety of the day.

Alpha!Steve Rogers x Omega!Reader

Summary: They say if you meet and don’t mate with your true bondmate, an Omega’s heats will become more frequent and more painful. Unfortunately for you, you live with multiple Alpha’s, and the one you have eyes for probably only sees you as a friend. So as a friend, you go to him for help one night, only to wake up bonded…

You wake up feeling warm and content. The first thing you notice is the warm breath on your neck and shoulders, Steve’s face shoved into the crook of your neck. His arms are around your middle, holding tightly, and you’re both curled around each other like perfect puzzle pieces.

The second thing you notice is that he’s hard.

In the moments before your brain fully registers your surroundings, in the place between asleep and awake, you feel Steve’s length pressing into you and you wiggle your hips back into it, making him moan a little in your ear. Your Omega instincts go into overdrive and you press your ass into him even further before your mind catches up to you and you realise what you’re doing.

You freeze and take a moment to take inventory of your current situation. You had fallen asleep with Steve in your room, in your nest. He’d also evidently fallen asleep at some point, and now you were cuddling, with his dick sticking into you, obviously after more stimulation. The fact that you’d even managed to fall asleep with someone so close to your nest, someone in your nest was absolutely insane to you.

But, Steve technically was your Alpha… maybe it was supposed to feel that natural. You feel safe around Steve, he’d never hurt you, and so perhaps that already present trust was tenfold now that you were bonded.

Yeah.

That had to be it.
