This is my main blog. I do have a few side blogs for my writing and crafting (and my cat). Originally, this was a sims 2 blog, but now I post about reading and just about anything I’m thinking. I hope you’ll join me! I’m going to try to be more consistent in 2023.

Beautiful Person Award! Once You Are Given This Award You Are Supposed To Paste It In The Ask Of 8 People
Beautiful person award! Once you are given this award you are supposed to paste it in the ask of 8 people who deserve it. If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's sweet to know, someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out. ❤️
Thank you! Right back at you, my friend. :D

He walked down the driveway to the front gate and looked up at Landgraab Manor. The white stone house seemed to loom over him, its rain-washed windows blank and empty. It had stood unoccupied for three years, ever since the deaths of his grandparents. Malcolm had not wanted to come home for the summers just to live on his own. Now, though, he had no choice. Landgraab Manor was his.
He unlatched the iron gates and walked up the stone path to the front doors. He had to fish in his pocket for the key to the front door, and it took him a moment to find it. Someone had put potted plants on the porch, with red flowers, he noticed. They hadn't been there three years ago. He wondered idly who it could have been. Maybe the caretaker. He wasn't even sure who that had been. He'd passed all responsibilities regarding the house and his inheritance over to the family lawyers until he finished school. He would have to call the firm and ask.

He finally found the right key and opened the front door. It didn't creak, as he'd half-expected it to. He flicked the light switch on the left side of the door and watched warm yellow light illuminate the entryway. Someone had been taking care of the place. He looked around. There was no dust on anything. The portraits on the walls and the furniture in the front hall were arranged exactly as they had always been. The rug had clearly been vacuumed recently. He really would have to ask who the caretaker had been so he could thank her. He’d expected to have to do a lot more to get the house back to its former glory. He might still hire a maid service, but it was nice that he could push that farther down his to do list for today.

There was a computer in the study, the same ancient behemoth his grandfather had bought when Malcolm was in high school. Malcolm sat down in the chair and pushed the power button. The computer turned on with a loud “bong”. It felt like ages before it finally booted up. Luckily his old high school user name and password still worked to log on. He managed to convince the computer to connect to the internet (he really was going to have to do some upgrades on this thing, or replace it, and get some good wifi in here) and logged into his online email account. There was the message in his inbox, along with a few others from friends. Malcolm clicked on the message to open it.

Thank you! Consider this passed on to anyone who sees it. You are all beautiful inside and out. :)

I like these rules. I may have to use them myself if you don’t mind? Happy simming!
Go for it! :)
