This is my main blog. I do have a few side blogs for my writing and crafting (and my cat). Originally, this was a sims 2 blog, but now I post about reading and just about anything I’m thinking. I hope you’ll join me! I’m going to try to be more consistent in 2023.

I have been horrible about responding to replies lately, so have a bunch. And a picture of my real cat, because he’s adorable.

penig replied to your photoset “Tara: Help! The cat is indecisive and I can’t go in until he does! ”
Cat-owner problems! And if you pick him up and carry him in, he expects you to do that every time.
I usually use my foot to gently encourage the cat to make up his mind, but I guess that’s not an option in the Sims. :)
penig replied to your photoset “Tara called the police to report Samantha missing. The police don’t...”
Yeah, you've really got to wonder about their priorities.
I know, right? I mean, a missing cat is surely the worst thing that’s happening in Bluewater tonight. Why can’t they send out a team to find the poor thing and bring her home?
esmeiolanthe replied to your photoset “The fire went out, but it looks like Samantha ran away! I’ve never...”
Actually, no you wouldn't. I didn't even consider the possibility that cats could run away, so I didn't bother putting anything in the points about that. Maybe I should?
Huh. I thought I’d seen something in the rules about cats running away. I guess not? I would take off points.
katrisims replied to your photoset “The fire went out, but it looks like Samantha ran away! I’ve never...”
Ouch! Well on the plus side, at least the fire's out. And maybe you can get poor Samantha back yet.
I’d never had a cat run away in game before. Of all the cats who could have run away, though, I think Samantha would be the best equipped to live on her own in the wild. She really seemed to like rolling around in the street and running about like a crazy thing.
sims2simmies replied to your photoset “Tara, what did you expect? If you tease the cat and get her all riled...”
Guilty. I do the same as well. Anyway, Tara show have known that there was going to be consequence to what she did.
We should all know there are consequences for teasing a cat, but they’re just so cute! I think the cute tends to make us forget what happened last time.
Thanks for all the replies, guys! I’m glad you’re enjoying the Kat household. :)

Thank you! And thank you to anyone else who has sent me one of these in the past. I think I have about five in my inbox that I just never responded to...
Thank you, everyone. You are all nice, cute, wonderful and beautiful as well. *hugs*

Unable to get back to sleep, Tara took a bit of time to play with the other cats in the kitchen.

Tara: Help! The cat is indecisive and I can’t go in until he does!

Oh look! Jareth was at the park! Tara had a want to be friends with him, so she took a break from fishing to fulfill that. Like I said, they have two bolts.

Cheech doesn’t take his Tara supervision duties quite as seriously as the other cats, but she is just making cereal. Surely she can’t mess that up.
