I decided from now on i would post things besides horror, i drew this recently on ibispaint and the quality isn’t that great ;-;

I had always been fascinated by Marie Antoinette, honestly she was too ill prepared to be queen, I’m aware there are times where she wasn’t such a terrible ruler, but also not a good one either, but she is a flawed person like the rest of us, we all have our flaws.

For this drawing i wanted a mix of this portrait of young Marie and Pauline Pollmann who played Marie in Jeanne Du Barry (2023) which honestly is my favourite actress to play Marie (besides Kirsten Dunst, please don’t after me ;-;)

And her outfit is based on the outfit that Pauline is wearing in the film, i haven’t digitally drawed in a while and this drawing was only intended for me to trace since i had trouble drawing her face accurately but i ended up making it a drawing instead for me to share here!

Overall I’m satisfied on how it turned out and i hope you all enjoyed my drawing too!

Based to the prom scene, but this time, after Sue got apologize and befriend to Carrie, she joined the prom and danced to her boyfriend Tommy while Carrie stayed to her old friend Brick. But this time, looks like they aren't just friends anymore. And this quote from the song tell you a lot behind of it.

I finally have something “Carrie” related that I can wear! I’ve been waiting to find a design that I like. It ended up being a bit pricey for me, but worth it ultimately.

Other than owning the novel, I only have these two (and an old DVD for the 1976 film) for Carrie related merch haha. Happy to have something else in the collection now!
