FUN FACT ABOUT THE SOTUS BRIDGE

As a Peraya and eternal SOTUS devotee, I had to visit the Rama VIII Bridge (hereafter The SOTUS Bridge) on my first trip to Thailand.

And while I was there, I was walking around and reflecting on all the famous scenes.

It's where they had their first kiss in SOTUS,

it's where Arthit gave Kongphob their soldered gears in SOTUS S,

and it's where Arthit had a poorly timed anxiety spiral in Our Skyy.

I was prepared to have all those feelings! Because we can see the bridge in all those shots! I figured any scene with the bridge would be really obvious.

BUT GUESS WHEN ELSE THEY'RE AT THE BRIDGE???

THIS FUCKING SCENE.

AND SURE ENOUGH, WHEN I WATCHED THAT SCENE AGAIN:

I'M GIVING YOU THIS GIFT SO IF YOU EVER GO TO THE SOTUS BRIDGE, YOU DON'T START CRYING IN PUBLIC BECAUSE YOUR FICTIONAL CHILDREN HAD A SAD FEW MINUTES ON THE JOGGING PATH WHILE AUNTIES NEARBY HAVE THEIR EVENING OUTDOOR AEROBICS CLASS ACCOMPANIED BY A TRAINER SHOUTING INTO A MEGAPHONE.

When I visited the second time with a friend, we watched their first kiss with the bridge in the background. It was transcendental; I highly recommend it.

I have sworn to myself to make a pilgrimage to The SOTUS Bridge every time I visit Thailand so that I may scream and cry and pay tribute to the series that paved the way for what we have now, amen.
