Pidge and Keith were actually going to meet each other the previous day of the launch (The day when the Holt family did the photos). But some hours before Matt had big brother protective thoughts, so he convinced his family to be there a little earlier without telling Shiro.
There's why they never meet each other before and why Shiro and Keith was only in the last photos.

What if Matt and Krolia and Romelle are there too so we get to see their DnD Personas as well. I’m just imagining Matt’s DnD form looking like a slightly larger version of Pidge and doing something similar to that one dude who intimidated people into not seeing their character with a dorky name like "RebelKing the Feirce" or something. Krolia doing what Shiro did and being the exact same character every time she dies. Romelle being confusedTM but excited.
but didn’t lauren and joaquim say that christie (the show’s character designer) did design keith’s dnd character (a barbarian named thunderstorm darkness) even though he wasn’t in the episode??? ahem???? WHERE ARE THEY HIDING THOSE DESIGNS???????????? WHY ARE THEY DEPRIVING US FROM SEEING KEITH’S AMPLIFIED EMO DARKSONA??????????????
And even more fan art today. I re-watched the Space Mall episode of Voltron and was possessed by the overwhelming desire to draw this guy, which I think is funny because he's not even in that episode.
But yeah, I love Matt, guys. And I have yet another fanfic in the works to prove it because I cannot express my love normally.
