NASA's Curiosity rover found a field of pure sulfur, whereas most other sulfur found has been a mix of sulfur and some other mineral. Scientist compared this to an oasis in the desert!
Due to the environment on Mars, this sulfur is odorless since the odor is caused by hydrogen sulfide gas

Well, it makes sense that Captain America is having trouble finding Bucky right now in the MCU; he was on a mission to Mars. A mission, I might add, that got extended. I wonder if they'll address it in Civil War.

Mars headcannons:
He's way more patient and kind than Ares, choosing to take care of his kids and stay with the mortal parent for some time after their birth.
He leans more toward his protective aspect than the war aspect. Mars was the father of Rome and he was revered as a protector. He will most likely help demigods if they ask for his help. unfortunately, they rarely do so.
Venus and Mars are married, and quite loving too. Not many people know that they are. He gets her chocolates and flowers for Valentine Day.
He doesn't like the color red, weirdly enough. He tends to like colder yet softer colors like blue or teal.
He absolutely hates Ares. Because he believes him to be the optimum of what he despises.

The original name for this group was Solar Balls, but that sounded too childish.
Basic info:
Earth(Erin): A fun loving planet, eager to join in on anything. He is secretly depressed. No matter who it is, he’ll be your friend. He loves his family TO DEATH. Age: 16
Venus(Vasy): A vain, snobbish planet, she loves everything about her. She loves her rocky siblings just a bit more. She is indifferent towards the giants. Age: 16
Mars(Warrior): After losing all of his life at a young age, he became jealous of Erin. He still cares about him, though. Age: 15
Mercury(Bolter): The youngest of the family, he enjoys races and beating other planets and/or stars. He loves everything and everyone, which can cause problems. Age: 12
Jupiter(Jas): This giant basically influenced everyone, so he’s seen as a mentor of sorts. He is, however, related to the Rockies, just not sibling wise. Age: 19
Saturn(Peach): The second oldest, she’s in deep love with another giant outside of her family, but Jas has his eye on her. She has tried many times to rebel against Jas...….and failed every time. Age: 18
Uranus(Urar): Being one of two mental broken planets, he is required to be looked after. Unlike his younger brother, he has a temper and will explode at any joke about him. Age: 17.8
Neptune(Siel): Being the most mental broken planet, he has trouble conversing with his siblings. He is most understood by Urar. Age: 17.5
Pluto(Haes): Being the distant relative of the teen planets, he is mostly excluded from them. He only gets attention when Erin’s beings notice him. (#PLUTOFORLIFE) Age: 11

The groups are related but not on a sibling level.

Sun ☀ -> represents our ego , our will , our self and rules Leo ( can also represent the father )
Moon 🌙 -> represents emotions , habits , insticts , the past , childhood and rules Cancer ( can also represent the mother )
Mercury 💬 -> represents way of thinking , communication , expressing ideas , humour , the mind and ruler of Gemini and Virgo
Venus ❤ -> represents beauty , love , aesthetics , music taste , fashion , material goods and arts and ruler of Taurus and Libra
Mars 💪 -> represents desire , drive , physical energy , combativeness , courage , how we express our anger and rules Aries
