Context

I was bored one day and wrote a werewolf Au for Amaya, and I just want to know who would read it. I have two works for it currently one just involving Amaya's thoughts on her wolf, and the other has a small amount of Janaya, but it is basically the same as the first.

The wolf inside

Since i posted the poll of who would read a Werewolf Amaya Au a lot of you voted yes so here is what i wrote.

(Even though it looks like it's NSFW, it's not. I'm just writing a werewolf being tied up so they don't hurt anyone.)

The moon was full and white as snow as its light showed through the small window of the dungeons in Lux Aurea.

Amaya looked up at Janai, her brown eyes shone with pain as her bindings bit into her skin. Even when lined with leather, they still hurt.

As she tightened the chains, Janai looked into her love's eyes as she signed, "I'll be back in the morning."

Amaya nodded and tested the binds; the weight of the chain was comforting on her arms, legs, and neck. She knew it was odd for a wolf to want to be chained up, but she needed to be since she had once attacked a servant back in Katolis during one of her transformations, so she thought it would be safer like this even if Janai hated to be the one to tie her up.

As she watched the elf leave the chamber, the transformation began. The silver-colored fur pushed its way through her skin forcing a whimper from the general that shifted into screams, as her bones snapped and reshaped into a larger form that was a near-perfect mix of wolf and human. Amaya took deep, shuddering breaths as sweat beaded her now fur-covered brow.

When chained, her mind starts to wander into the darkest sections, the feeling of familiar hatred seeped into her mind, not toward any of the preventions but towards herself and being a wolf, most would say she was blessed with the gift to turn into a beast that could level small armies not knowing the many curses it carries with it. The hunger that sinks its claws into her sides, her loss of control when angered, and the way her senses made it almost unbearable to live without being overwhelmed by the slightest touch or smell.

That was until Janai came into her life. The elf had heard stories of humans with pure hearts being followed by animal spirits that would lend their strength to transform into a more primal form. Most of these humans were ones who treated nature with respect and kindness. Some were great warriors and generals. But most of them died to other humans who saw them as monsters.

(The next day)

Janai walked to the chamber at dawn and saw Amaya's wolf form. The wolf growled softly as Amaya saw the silhouette of the elf. "Easy love, it's just me." The elf signed before placing a hand on the wolf's shoulder, feeling the coarse yet soft fur before moving her hand up toward the iron collar around her neck sighing as she unlocked it then she moved on to unlock Amaya's arms and legs like she did every morning after the full moon. The wolf form slowly released Amaya as the sun rose, the silver fur returning to white skin, gold eyes shifting back to brown, claws shrinking into nails, and her form slowly shrank back to normal.

If We're Gonna Walk We Walk As Lions

This was a random idea I had one day

Golden sunlight shined over the savanah as Janai sat on a tree limb, her golden fur shown in the light as she felt the branch bend as a silver furred lioness sat beside her, and nuzzled her shoulder. Janai looked over at the lioness before licking her cheek. "Did the patrol go well, Amaya?" She asked, making sure she was looking at her as she spoke. The silver lioness nodded and jumped down from the tree and wrote in the sand with her claws about what she saw during her patrol. The gold lioness nodded as she looked over her report. "Good work, love. Go and rest for a bit." Amaya nodded and laid beneath the tree Janai was sitting in enjoying the coolness. The shaded sand brought her warm skin, watching the leaves as they shifted in the daylight. The flecks of light showed beautifully against Janai's fur as she looked at her lovingly.

The moon and the stars

The sun shined over Lux Aurea as Sameera and her friend Salem walked to her home. Sameera felt as if she had forgotten something, but she shrugged the feeling off as they approached the small cabin she and her parents called home.

The young teen pushed the door open, letting her friend inside. "Are your moms around?" Salem asked softly, and Sameera shook her head."They said they would be home tomorrow morning. Something about a meeting with my cousin in another kingdom. And they said I could have a friend over to keep me company." Sameera smiled as she said the last sentence.

The silence between the two after was comfortable as they sat next to each other. Salem's head was lying in the crook of the elf's neck, enjoying the feeling of warmth radiating off of her. Salem's soft voice breaks the silence, "I miss spending time with you, Sam." The elf ran a hand through her friend's long hair as she replied."I am always there for you if you need me." The human nodded before responding."I know you're there for me, but to actually be with you, it makes me feel like myself, not who my parents want me to be. You make me feel sane, Sam." The elf's smile fades as she knows what Salem ment as she holds her close.

(Time Skip because I could not think of anything)

The next day, as Salem and Sameera woke up, they heard soft laughter as Sameera's parents entered the cabin. Salem looked at the two women. One was a human with a scar on her left cheek, and the other was a Sunfire elf with gold markings that looked kind of like tears. They looked oddly familiar to her, but she had just woken up so she couldn't be sure. "Sam, who are your parents again?" Salem asked her voice thick from sleep, Sameera replied,"Amaya and Janai." Salem nodded."Oh, neat." She laid her head back on the elf's shoulder until a few seconds passed, and her mind finally made sense of what her friend said, causing her to jolt up from her half asleep state "Your parents are the queen of Lux Aurea and her wife?!" Sameera woke up a bit more due to Salem's outburst rubbing the sleep out of her eyes "Yeah didn't I tell you?" She asked before her friend hit her shoulder "No you didn't, you dummy." Salem chuckled at Sameera's surprised expression."I could've sworn I told you."

This isn't finished yet, but I am working on it, I'm just having some issues.

A Sky Without Stars

Janai noticed changes in her fiancée's behavior after they got back to the Sunfire camp. There was a noticeable limp in Amaya's gait, and she had less energy than she normally did. When she would ask if she was okay, Amaya would brush off her concerns because she didn't truly know either.

The corruption spread slowly across Amaya's lower left leg, barely noticed due to her pure heart keeping it at bay. But as days crept into weeks, the infection spread like dark vines across her calf and moved up to her thigh, finding purchase on more of her pure, untainted flesh.

As Janai got back to her and Amaya's tent one morning, something didn't feel right. The elf could hear soft growls and whimpers that sounded like an animal in a trap. She walked in to see Amaya doubled over in pain on the floor of the tent clutching her leg. Janai had never seen her like this before. As she walked closer, she saw Amaya's leg was a dark, sickly shade of purple that was almost black in color. Janai wanted to run and get help for her, but she kept moving towards Amaya.

Something deep in the back of Janai's mind told her that it wasn't too late to save her love. She placed a hand on Amaya's leg, causing Amaya to look at her. "What happened?" Janai asked, and Amaya took a few seconds to reply with shaky hands she signed."I don't know. I didn't even notice I was scratched."

Her breaths were shaky, and Janai could see in her lover's eyes the inner turmoil between Amaya's pure heart and the darkness that was spreading through her. She picked Amaya up and carried her to the medic's tent, her eyes burning with tears threatening to fall.

The medics tent was quiet as the queen rushed in, holding Amaya, Janai told them what she knew had happened, after which the medics urged her to leave so they could work to help her.

After an hour or so, she was told the operation to remove the corruption was successful, but Amaya would have a long recovery ahead of her due to them needing to remove most of the affected leg "She is resting now, but you can go see her if you want." The medic said as he led her to where her fiancée was. Janai smiled as she saw her.  "I'm glad it wasn't too late to save you, my love." She whispered to herself as she moved a stray hair out of Amaya's face.

(Time skip a few weeks)

Janai worked tirelessly through the early evening to late at night in the forge, rechecking the measurements the doctors gave her and the reference sketches. As she wiped her brow, she saw how the shaped silver gleamed like a star on a clear night. The gold wire she used for the details ran like veins through it.

As she looked at it, she felt a firm hand on her shoulder she looked over to see Gren. His face had a look of worry. "Amaya is wondering where you are." She sighed softly before replying."Tell her I'm finishing a project and that I'll see her shortly." Gren nodded."I know you're making that leg for Amaya, but she needs you now more than ever. She needs you to tell her that you care and love her despite what happened." Janai sighed."I know, believe me, it just hurts to see her like this." Janai's thoughts after she spoke went dead silent as she packed up the leg, placing it in a cubby near the forge and started to walk back to her and Amaya's tent. As she neared the tent, she let out a soft sigh before entering. As she entered, she felt the pain she saw in Amaya's face. When she got closer, Janai hesitantly signed, "How are you feeling?" She already knew the answer, but she felt the need to ask since Gren talked to her at the forge. Amaya's face fell as she signed."I'm fine, just trying to get used to this situation." She pointed to what was left of her leg to emphasize her point.

Your Love Will Stand

(An idea based on the MANY death flags raised by Amaya in episode four of season five brought up by someone in discord (i am so sorry Amaya, i love you)

The beasts circled her as she dispatched each one after the other, but that was until her hand holding her sword felt like worms were squirming up it. She looked at her hand and saw a scratch she felt tears threatening to fall, but she kept fighting for her family, for Janai. Janai, her heart hurt that she wouldn't be able to marry the love of her life, the one who made her feel whole for the first time in years.

She fought off the corruption for a while, but as the sun finally rose again, she lost the battle. She dragged herself into the furthest corner of the library before the corruption took complete control of her.

She felt a presence sitting next to her as she finally succumbed. It was warm, comforting, and strong, and it waited for her with open arms.

You are my sunshine

(You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.)

Amaya held Janai close to her as blood spilled from the wound in the elf's side. Despite her best attempts to stop the blood, her love slowly slipped away before her eyes.

(You make me happy when skies are gray)

The pain of losing another person she cared about hurt more than any wound she had received from battle. She had told Janai this a few years ago after a battle when Janai was severely injured

(You'll never know dear how much I love you.)

As the tears fell, Amaya felt a hand cup her cheek and wiped a tear away she looked at Janai's now pale face. The fire in her once feirce amber eyes was now a weak ember now barely hanging on.

(Please don't take my sunshine away)

So cute.

for 101 promtps

janaya in 40.Rescue/Bridal Carry pls. Extra points if it`s Janai carrying Amaya.

"Hey, little one!" Janai laughed, picking up her son as he waddled his way towards her arms in the air, "I thought your mother was putting you down for bed."

"Hi!" the little one grabbed at her hair, and continued to blab, some of it even coherent.

"Ah, I see. That's a serious issue." She agreed, kissing his forehead, "Now lets go find our wayward queen."

It wasn't difficult to find her, she was in the nursery, fast asleep in the toddler's little bed.

"Did you two decide to trade places tonight?" she giggled, setting him down and kissing his forehead before he could protest, "I have to take your mom to bed."

Aviv laughed like it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen when Janai picked up her pregnant wife, careful not to jostle her too much. It was so hard for her to sleep well these days, and she'd like to let her rest.

"Come, my son, you can sleep in our bed tonight." His eyes lit up and he followed Janai as she carried her wife to bed.

"I'll do anything. Anything at all. Just let my friend go."

*rubs hands together enthusiastically*

Oh, this will be fun!!! (Forgive me for changing a word from the prompt it just makes more sense if I used the word "wife" instead of "friend")

"I'll do anything. Anything at all. Just let my wife go." Janai pleaded as the blood elf's claws lightly pierced the soft flesh beneath them, causing small beads of blood to roll down the human's neck. Kim'dael smirked at the queen's words. "Anything you say?" She asked. Her blood red eyes seemed to search the Sunfire queen's face as she nodded. "Yes, anything. Just let Amaya go."

"Then release me from my debt." The blood elf requested, to the queen's shock."No! I will never release you." Janai said with a slight growl as she saw the elf's claws sink slightly deeper, forcing a pained whimper from Amaya."Are you sure about that choice?" She asked lowly.

She finally saw the queen's resolve break. Janai spoke the words she never thought would leave her mouth, "Im sorry grandmother. Kim'dael of the Blood Moon, I release your debt." The golden collar around Kim'dael's neck glowed like white hot metal as it split down the middle, revealing scarred flesh from when her grandmother first gave it to her as it fell to the ground.

"Thank you, and as promised." The elf released Amaya before disappearing in a cloud of red mist. The two lovers reunited in a soft embrace.

A Wolf and A Tiger

Amaya felt like someone was following her as she walked into the woods but didn't pay attention to it since the moon was rising and she had to find Janai before then. She could feel her wolf pur at the thought of seeing the tiger again, as she entered a clearing the scent of cinnamon and cherry smoke filled the air and in the center was Janai. "I was worried you wouldn't come." Janai signed as she met her in a soft embrace, which Amaya relished in for a few moments before having to break it to sign. "I had to make sure I wasn't followed sunshine. You know what will happen if my sister finds out about us." Janai's reply made her heart spark alight."I know my moon, but let's forget about the world for now and just be."

Amaya's wolf and Janai's tiger stirred as the moon rose higher before they shifted. Amaya's wolf appeared almost painlessly, followed by Janai's tiger form. The two played in the moonlit clearing, free from what society wanted them to be. It was peaceful until Janai heard a twig snap.

The scent of sweet berries and citrus filled their noses. The tiger could see Amaya's ears flattening against her head with a whimper as Janai looked at the treeline and saw someone in between them. Janai stood in front of Amaya with a protective growl, hoping to scare whoever was there away. But that only made them come closer.

The moon bathed the figure in silver light, revealing a woman with pale skin similar to Amaya's, but her hair was longer, and her eyes held a dagger's edge in them. Janai felt herself wanting to back away from the woman's presence and let her see Amaya because she didn't want to pose a threat to her. "What do you want?" Janai asks calmly, which the human returns with a snarl."I could ask the same from you, now back away from my sister before I make you." The woman shifted into a huminoid black wolf with her teeth now bared, but Janai didn't move. The tiger spoke calmly. "No."

The wolf growled and charged toward the tiger, and before she could even think her arm lashed out too hit her but didn't notice her sister running in front of the tiger, her eyes blinded in anger. Her claws hit Amaya across the cheek, sending her to the ground with a hard thud, causing a whimper to escape from her lips before she pushed herself up with a pained growl. She saw her sister's guilt filled face as she kneeled, but Amaya felt her wolf snarl at her before looking at Janai, who helped her up.

The air was filled with the smell of Amaya's blood now, and it was dripping off the other woman's claws. Janai had tried to be civil with her, keeping calm when the woman started to get aggressive, not showing any hostility, and it resulted in the one she loved to get hurt. Janai let out a soft sigh before letting her full tiger free as she spoke, "I didn't want to fight you. But you hurt the one I love, I told her not to worry about you since I would protect her!!"

"Protect her from what? A loving sister who wants only the best for her, the only family she ever knew?" The woman replied with a snarl. The dagger's edge in her eyes became as sharp as a sword as she saw the tiger shake her head "No I would never protect her from that, I will however, protect her from anyone who wishes to harm her because of who she loves. Now leave before I do something we both will regret."

The black wolf nodded and ran into the woods. A roar followed her through the woods, ringing in her ears.

Barely holding back the urge to run after her, Janai held Amaya close and nuzzled into her neck. Inhaling the scent of fresh rain-soaked earth and leather. She finally allowed herself to calm down. That was when she cupped Amaya's left cheek to look at the injury. A hiss of pain came from the silver wolf, "I know it hurts. And it looks like it will scar." She could see Amaya's ears were still flattened against her head. She was afraid, Janai ran her hand gently through her love's hair as they now sat in the clearing, holding each other tight.

Hanahaki au for Janaya

It'd been a rather...untrusting way to keep peace between their once warring nations, but it was effective. Each nation sent their best warriors to the apposing nation, they would protect the royal family with their lives, and end the royal family if they showed any sign of treachery. Their ancestors agreed that they would make peace or die, but on nothing else.

Janai grew up around humans in their grey ugly armor, some she loathed, some she liked. They were were like elves in that, but at least with elves she loathed, there wasn't always the knowledge that they were her jailers. She was born with a knife to her knife to her throat,

'The guards who protect your life will end it as well, never forget this.'

To be fair, the Katolian royals had the same lot in life. Each nation cheated a little, marrying their strong warriors whenever they could to avoid losing them. Janai's father had been one such warrior, and King Harrow's wife was one as well. That is how Janai ended up in her current predicament.

They'd sent the new princess's little sister to replace Janai's aging bodyguard, and it hadn't taken long for Janai to grow fond of her. Amaya was amazing, strong, fierce, clever, loyal, amusing...her positive traits would take all day for the Golden Knight to list. They became friends, spending more time together than necessary, learning from and leaning on each other; fighting together and depending on each other.

They had tea nearly every night, and tonight, Janai returned to her room and started coughing. It was no surprise to her when she felt something solid come up her throat. She could even guess what type it was;

a crimson orchid: love, respect, desire. A flower representing an elf who found a love with a harmonious mind and heart, their match. And now Janai had officially taken too long to admit it.

She spent all night researching how to stop it. Two options presented themselves, admit her feelings, or have the priests burn it out (along with the feelings themselves) at the sunforge. She found herself lacking the strength to do either.

Janai hid it, and hid it well. She would excuse herself to cough up the orchids, then burn them in her hand. Her daily tasks still done, her nightly tea still observed, though the coughing fit she had after was becoming more tiresome.

A book dropped on her desk, spilling the ink and ruining her work, "I'm deaf, not blind."

"What do you mean?" she got a pointed finger at the book....oh... Amaya had looked up Hanahaki Disease.

"Tell her." She ordered, crossing her arms.

"That's not an option." Even if she did, it wasn't like she would ever have her. She had been content to have Amaya in the way she had her, the disease wasn't being fair.

"You shouldn't live without love, Janai" Amaya signed with a soft look on her face, Janai could feel the flowers growing in her lungs.

"I can't."

"Then why don't you go to the priests?"

"I can't lose her."

"You don't even have her, Janai! Either grow the horns and tell her how you feel or cut her off!" Amaya glared, challenging her. Janai seethed, jumping to her feet so she could glare down at her.

"Don't tell me what to do, bodyguard!"

"Fine, pull rank. I guess I'll have make it easier for you." Janai's mind came up with a very clever response that never left her mouth, it was too occupied. Amaya pulled her down and kissed her. It was everything Janai could hope for...then she pulled away and had the worst coughing fit of her life. Amaya rubbed her back the whole time... which only served to grow more orchids.

She finally pulled away, Amaya wiped away the tears caused by the coughing, "How did you know it was you?"

"Deaf, not blind, Princess." she rolled her eyes, "Just tell me, Janai."

Strange, even knowing Amaya had feelings for her, it was still hard to choak out those three little words, "I love you."

"I love you, too." With Amaya's admission, Janai felt her lungs clear for the first time in weeks. She felt relief, but was not at all relived,

"It doesn't matter, we can't be together."

"No we can't." the human agreed, "Officially. Luckily as your bodyguard, no one will question if I watch over you tonight."

Janai blushed deeper than she ever had before, "...May the sun go down quickly."

Even The Darkest of Nights End In Sunlight

Yureni sighed as he looked out into the royal garden where he could see his sister sitting next to a large statue of their mother, her shield raised high .

The boy had heard from his older sister of how the garden seemed to be more beautiful at dawn just as the sun was rising above the palace walls, the sunset violets, crimson orchids, and gold and orange marigolds sparkling with morning dew in the soft morning light.

He heard familiar footsteps behind him, followed by his mom's soft voice. "I knew I would find you here. What's on your mind?"

"What was my mother like... before she died?" Yureni asked softly. Janai smiled sadly as she replied, "She was fearless, brave, strong, and kind. She was the only one who I could call my match, my love, my light in the dark." His mom's eyes softened as she asked."You dont have to answer, but why do you want to know about her?"

The teen was silent for a few seconds before replying."I want to know because she died when I was too young to really remember her." He wiped some tears from his eyes with a soft sniffle. He felt his mom place her hand on his shoulder. The teen leaned his head back and whispered, "I just wish she was here." Janai sighed softly before kissing her son's forehead."I wish she was still here too. You would have made her so proud, sunbeam."
