I gotta say first, I'm not here to just rag on Wish (even though it did disappoint me quite a bit), but I just want to point something out.
The whole, "I'm A Star" thing just wasn't making sense to me. Good song, yeah, but why are they stars? I don't think it's the best analogy for people that want to show that they are united. Stars are so... solitary.
Throughout the song, I was just thinking "yeah, all of Rosas are stars. So beautiful when you look at them, so bright and shiny and inspiring. Until you look closer and realise the sheer distance between each star, the millions of miles and years keeping them apart and the fact that, if one stops shining, who's gonna notice if it isn't one of the brightest? How did no one realise that there were any problems till Asha got sad?"
