"The golem is a creature of Jewish folklore. They are humanoid and traditionally made of clay, though this one is made of cut aluminum.

Originating in Prague, the golem was created as a protector for the downtrodden Jews who lived in the slums there. The lettering on his forehead spells out "amet" or "truth" in hebrew. This lettering is what brings the golem to life in the folklore.
