Ah yes the fandom giving facial expressions to the characters whose facial movement isn't possible or is extremely limited; to empathize with them and read them better. My favourite no joking. It's a win-win for everyone on comics field. Though I think it's better to follow the original design in fanfiction. As comics depend entirely on visual it is better to make the characters expressive (though it doesn't necessarily require facial expressions! But it's just easier that way) but writing can leave enough cues through the text to describe the emotional statement without describing facial expressions Out of topic but- Damn.
