Summary - A week and a half after one of the worst wizarding wars in history, the Ministry of Magic has asked wizarding and muggle-born families to welcome the children of Death Eaters (who are awaiting trial) into their homes, for the summer.

Hermione has literally just got her parents back and is outraged to find out that McGonagall wants the family to invite the 'ultimate dipshit' Draco Malfoy to stay with them.

But if they refuse, Malfoy is headed to Azkaban.

Nearly that time of year and if you fancy a cosy, fluffy, (smutty) Christmassy Dramione here you go... (mind the tags as always)

Here is the summary if you fancy a read;

Draco has been asked by Patrick (his Mind Healer) to write his thoughts and feeling down whilst he tackles 8th year at Hogwarts.

A lot of his thoughts and feelings centre around one specific person with several different nicknames.

One of the things he has to work on is 'accountability' - which is fine because he excels at most things he does. (Except being a Death Eater - he was rubbish at that.)

Oh, and he's also getting a bit paranoid - is it the Black Family Madness? (Or something else).

I'm posting an update today on my WIP Dramione - The Summer After.

(Amazing how I get my ff to coincidence with the seasons).

Here's a snippet of Chapter 13: 😎🌞🌊

When the beach came into view, all thoughts of Ron evaporated. It was a glorious, soft sandy beach, the surf rolling in gentle waves, the sun sparkling onto the ripples of the blue-green ocean, and best of all, it was completely empty. 

The group looked at each other, excitement and happiness written into their faces. 

As one, they ran to the ocean, kicking up sand and laughing as they sprinted toward the sea.   Harry and Theo were the quickest, with Ginny a hair behind them. Luna, Neville and Blaise were a shade behind her. Cho, Dean Thomas and the Greengrass sisters were screaming and running as fast as they could. 

Draco had lagged behind and grabbed Hermione’s hand, pulling her along so fast she felt like she was flying. She was giggling uncontrollably and terrified she would fall in a heap if he let go. As they got closer to the surf, people began dropping towels and threw their clothes off their bodies. 

T-shirts, dresses and flip flops lay in a tangled mess at the shore.  

Hermione pulled her hand out of Draco’s so she could take her dress off and as soon as it was over her head, she was thrown over his shoulder as he jogged towards the sea and into the waves. All around her people were screaming and laughing joyfully as they jumped into the water. 

And Hermione was very aware that her red-bikini-clad arse was in the air. 

She felt the freezing water on her feet and face as he splashed into it. He was laughing as he waded into the sea.  Malfoy carried her into waist height water and then she knew what he was going to do. 

“No!” she screeched as he threw her into the sea. The water hit her like a bucket of ice, she found her feet and jumped back up ready to kill him but he was already there pulling her up and grinning, wiping her hair out of her eyes. 

“You absolute shit, Malfoy!” she said breathlessly.  She was freezing and haphazardly rearranging the straps of her bikini. Hermione tried not to look at his firm chest and toned stomach. 

“Sorry, love. I couldn’t help it! Here,” he placed both of her hands on top of his head, intimating she should push him down. “I’m prepared to be dunked. Do it!” 

Ignoring the affectionate term of endearment, she narrowed her eyes and began pushing. He slowly went down, keeping eye contact, even when he was by her boobs. She pushed harder, he smiled and went under. Just as she was starting to feel better (and slightly aroused, if she was honest with herself), she felt his hand at the back of her knees and he scooped her legs up and she was under the water again. Bastard! 

This time when she was getting up, blinking furiously and dragging her hair out of her eyes, he’d swum off and was waving at her from behind Luna.
