You actually didn’t want for him to let go. His hand, even though the rest of his body was uncomfortably cold, was very warm. It made you feel safe. And he never actually held your hand because it was “two embarra22iing.”

After he was done he took out his switch and started playing on it. Scooting over to a tree and papping the ground next to him. You went over and watched him play for a few hours until you fell asleep. This happened normally but. It was different today.

He didn’t do the thing where he pushed you off his shoulder and let you rest on his lap. He just ended up falling asleep next to you. Thank god the tree was big enough to cover you from the sunlight that rained in a few hours later!
