I mean, throughout my childhood, my parents have done this. they want "respect." Anything they want, they'd just force me into it by instilling fear as to what will happen "otherwise." Good grades? scare me shitless through strange methods so fing bad I have this HORRID anxiety and stress that affected me PHYSICALLY through out my school years all circulating my grades. and they justify their actions saying children owe it to parents?? their children HAVE to respect them and *obey them?? for what? My mom bought smthing up recently and it was really triggering and i needed to rant. IM SO SORRY FOR THIS THOUGH- ITS SO RANDOM but i cant talk to my friends about this, so i run over to tumblr and anon someone i dont even know irl :/ All that aside, Im so glad you're back, love!!! so much to catch up on!- low key ghosted tumblr for a while but im back and ready to devour everything October has to offer abt re :3 cant wait for your next posts <3 -mint anon. :)

desi parents mean well but it's hard to find that when they're acting like that, yk? good grades have always been the staple of my childhood i could get a's in everything but suppose i get a b in math it's somehow irrelevant that im an otherwise straight a student
