Too true. I have long referred to my muse as a freight train because it is Like That. I'm never expecting it, it comes at incredible speeds, and really, it's my own fault for not getting off of the tracks that entertainment leaves in my mind. My muse one of three things at all times: the aforementioned freight train, a crow enraptured by shiny new ideas, or a particularly distractible squirrel.

So they really are made for each other. My sweet sarcastic blorbos.

My DND character, Xior Wulfentrussor, is my co-star, apparently. That'd be interesting. A seven-foot-something beast of a woman who could crush me between her thighs if she wanted to (I think muscular women are awesome and this half-orc half-elf sorcerer woman is no exception.)

The movie would be titled "Meet me Inside" because I've on a Hamilton kick lately (it helps time go faster at one of my jobs).

So I recently came to an epiphany. For a long time I thought my fictional crushes had a common thread of looks and that I was attracted to that. But as the list of exceptions grew longer and longer, the ability to find any similar physical features was getting harder and harder.

Plus I've met a lot of people that fit what I thought my type was in real life—nothing. Just...no dice. No attraction.

I don't think looks are what do it for me.

I started looking at the fictional character that I have had crushes on, and what they DO have in common are personality traits and personal stories. Like, it's a way more solid thread of commonality. So, I may be drawn to a certain personality type.

It may also help explain why I have yet to have a crush on or feel attracted to a real person.
