Backgrounds from some character illustrations I did a while ago. They've aged better than the actual characters so I'm posting them on their own.

Third and final set so far of wizards based on Pokemon types. This is the Fighting-type set. First set so far where every design is still strong to me. Pairing things with Fighting-type was on the whole fairly easy to make into a design by a three-step process of asking if the second one could be made into a weapon, if not how could it help with punching, and if it cannot directly help with punching how does one punch in a way that evokes or involves the type. Normal wriggles free of all of these because it's Normal and cannot add anything except my established greyscale for Normal types. Fighting/Water wizard may well be one of my best character designs ever.

I think there are only three designs here that may be somewhat ambiguous so I'll save time typing by saying the green one is Steel, the orange and black one doing some amazing splits is Dark, and the jester is Fairy. Next up will be Ghost but that set has thirteen more designs to get done so it may be a while in arriving.

That time I designed a bunch of wizards in hats based off of Pokemon types. This is the initial set of 18, which are mostly not great, but I gotta post em if I wanna get to the good stuff. Some of these typings may be unclear so to clarify: Fire, Water, Grass, Ghost, Dragon, Rock, Dark, Fairy, Steel, Ground, Fighting, Electric, Poison, Psychic, Ice, Bug, Flying, Normal. Do not ask me why Fairy has no feet, I do not understand my past self for that one.

I will not be tagging this post. I have triggered a glitch that causes Tumblr to constantly scroll upward and any typing I do causes the screen to jump up and down and it gives me a headache.

In 2019, an artist I followed on Newgrounds, called OutlawEric (though he went by idrawbutts at the time) presented the world with a fun little art challenge called Sprite Draw. On his website, at the still functioning link https://www.beaudu.com/spritedraw one would generate a random set of pixels and interpret them into a figure of some kind. Plenty of folks participated. I was one of them, and decided to do a whole five-by-five grid for some reason. Then in 2020 I decided to do it again, though I was the only one this time. This is the 2020 set, in the Cooler Daniel position next to the 2019 set.

I also decided to write lore for these as a fun creative challenge but I'm too proud of the formatting to post it without and I'd either have to go through the bother of re-exporting all of these with the little labels attached or post them separately, whereupon they wouldn't all fit into one post. The writing is also bad probably.

Pretty much all the pixel art I've ever done. The first two of these got me like 500 notes on my old account but I think that was on account of a single popular account reblogging me so I won't get my hopes up for a repeat.

All the art I did of, and relating to, this lady, for a Discord thing. I sincerely hope nobody is happy with how these images are distributed. It's what she would want.
