Couple of (ridiculous) plane designs I was toying with some time ago. Forgot to upload them earlier so here we are.

The odd one

I always found the X32 to be the more mechanically interesting of the two jets, as it doesn’t rely on a lift fan that turns into a big paperweight in level flight. 

Shame that it got mostly judged by the goofy outward design. I like to think that the underside is just an add-on jump kit to a much slimmer jet, which makes the plane look somewhat less like a flying tub.

Aren’t those the cars with big pipes and spoilers? Maybe something like this. (cars are hard to turn into people)
