Dorm leaders get Kabedon by an S/O who didn't know they kabedon'd the Dorm leaders cus Yuu wanted to get their attention and say something they deemed important
A/N: Sorry for the long wait! Studying in another country is taking a lot more out of me than I thought it would, and I've been pretty drained of motivation ;;;;. Hopefully it gets better once I get more used to living here and used to being so far from my friends and family, but I'll see where it takes me! I do see all the requests and I'm very grateful for all your support and kind comments- they're all getting be through these times <<3333 I couldn't thank you all enough for your support and I'll get back into my groove soon I hope!
Riddle:
"-and as of right now, there are currently fifteen students who have told me that they will be unable to complete their tasks necessary for the upcoming unbirthday party which, unfortunately, means-" He rambled, shuffling the impressive amount of papers he was currently holding in his arms- all annotated and marked appropriately and according by date and subject. He was walking through the main hallway with the prefect after classes and was currently incredibly stressed about the events that had unfolded since he woke up.
First, he had gotten several messages about things that had gone wrong yesterday due to a brutal storm that had run its way through his dorm overnight; consisting of ripped-up bushes, frightened animals, and overturned tables (not to mention the countless roses that had been plucked from their homes and thrown about the area). That was followed by multiple complaints about food being stolen from the kitchen (he was confident that the culprit was a certain red-headed card soldier who had been getting on his nerves day in and day out since his arrival at NRC). Following that, many students had told him that they were sick and unable to perform their duties for the day.
Riddle felt as though his head was going to explode from stress, and he found himself rambling to the one person on campus who he felt was sane enough to understand his inner turmoil.
"Riddle!" He gasped when his back met the cold stone wall and a hand was placed beside his head. All his worries seemed to be ripped away from him as his brain as the only thing he could focus on was the rapid thrumming of his heart beneath his uniform and how close his friend was. His mouth opened and closed for a moment as he felt his face heat up. He felt as though he couldn't breathe from the close proximity.
"Finally," They sigh, leaning back and giving him some room to catch some much-needed air. "I was telling you that we passed the cafeteria. You mentioned that you didn't eat lunch."
"Right..." He mumbles, his voice much too small for his liking. They back away and, for a moment, Riddle wishes that those few moments of suffocation would last just a little bit longer. The more he reflects on it, the quicker his heart beats. His hands begin to tremble and he barely notices when more and a few papers slip from his grasp and fall to the floor. His face heats up once more and his breathing becomes erratic the more he looks at the prefect, the sensation becoming too intense before he finds himself stammering something about a text from Trey and running off, leaving the poor prefect in a confused daze behind him with only the echo of his heels clicking behind him.
Leona:
He was currently trying to nap beneath the large canopy of a tree nestled deep within the botanical garden. The warmth of the sun seeped in through the vast windows that were cut in a way that decorated small patches of the ground around in the shades of the rainbow, highlighting the bright hues of the tropical flowers that he was surrounded by. He was skipping class again, as per usual, after having been victim to a three-hour-long call from his family. All he wanted to do was to rest in the small patch of grass that he'd claimed as his own and sleep until it was dinner- which wouldn't be for another five hours from then.
He had found the most perfect spot- just hidden away from any prying eyes and surrounded by the scent of the nearby flowers, but not close enough to get sprayed by the water that would rain down when the sprinklers went off. He had just closed his eyes when he caught a familiar smell lurking in the bushes.
"What do you want, herbivore?" He groans, peeking an eye open and squinting against the bright light. The human stands over him, hands on their hips as they cast a shadow over his form.
"Ruggie sent me!" The beastman rolls his eyes and allows the opened one to slip closed once more. "Come on, Leona! You can't miss another class..."
"Why not?" He scoffs, rolling onto his side so he was facing away from them. He feels their hand land on his shoulder and tug lightly in an attempt to get him to look at them once more which, of course, fails. He can admire their determination in most situations, but in this kind of scenario, he can't help but feel annoyed at their insistence.
"You have to graduate at some point!" Leona sighs and rolls over, making the human slip with a yelp that makes his eyes shoot wide open as he finds himself directly under the prefect. He smirks and tries to ignore the way his stomach flutters at their proximity.
"Is this how you want to wake me up?" Leona chuckles. "You're awfully brave, stomping into the lion's den." He basks in their flustered expression before flipping the roles, successfully pushing them onto the dirt and laughing loudly at the way their face morphs into something much more intense than it was previously.
"Leona..." Their quiet, flustered voice reaches his ears and he tilts his head, sitting back on his heels and allowing them to sit up, barely catching their embarrassed stammers and excuses before they run back into the gardens, disappearing between the bushes.
He chuckles and leans back into the grass, finally able to take the nap he so desperately wished for.
Azul:
He was currently hunched over his desk, well past the hours when he should have been showered and in bed. The rest of the Mostro Lounge was dead silent aside from the soft sounds of bubbles that emanated from the hallway and the occasional clink as he bumped into his glass of water, which bumped into the inkwell of his bonefish pen. The only other sounds that echoed throughout the room was the scratching of his pen and the occasional drawn-out sigh from the merman as he slaved away at his desk.
His entire body ached and his eyes felt as though they were being weighed down with lead, but he had to finish the final budgeting for the lounge before dawn. If not, then he would be behind on all the other work that he had to get done- such as ordering supplies and creating menus for the next month and a half, as well as filing any reports for damages caused by rowdy guests or the notorious eel that would throw things when he had gotten into one of his moods or would draw on plates when he felt like it.
He didn't even feel when he had dozed off, only knowing that he had blinked for a little too long before he was spun around and roughly jostled out of his dazed state. He blinks widely up at the person who currently had their hands on either side of his desk, effectively trapping him between them and the piece of furniture. Their proximity alone was enough to wake him up, leaving the mer feeling as though he'd just been plunged into the water of the Coral Sea.
For a moment his mind was racing with thoughts about how he currently looked- he was sure that his glasses were askew (and likely smudged due to his slow, sleepy movements), his hair was probably a mess; sticking up out of his head in each and every direction, and his uniform was comprised of nothing more than his loosely buttoned white shirt and his untied bowtie that hung loosely over his shoulders.
On the other hand, he couldn't focus on anything more than the little details he could never really see of the prefect- the way their lip juts out when they're nervous, the little lines in the corners of their eyes from when they smiled, and even the way their hair framed the face that he would watch day in and day out.
Once his brain clicked, he scrambled for some sort of purchase, effectively tipping his chair back and making his head hit the desk with a thud as pain shot down his spine from the impact. He hit the ground with a groan before the prefect helped him up, walking with him back to his room to nurse his injury. He couldn't tell if his face was burning and his heart was constricting from embarrassment or affection, but he decided that he couldn't care either way.
Kalim:
"But then we could find some new animals to add to the dorm! It would be fun, right?" The heir was currently trying to brainstorm ideas on how to make his dormmates seem less... drained. For the past couple of weeks, due to finals, he noticed how exhausted many of them were. His concern arose when some of them even turned down dinner in favor of studying or sleep. He wasn't exactly sure how he could help them, considering that the most he's been able to offer thus far was a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on, as well as festivals and parties (that many of the students also declined). He was at a loss for what to do until he decided to do some research, which lead him on a tangent in his room, late into the hours of the night. The windows were wide open, which allowed some moonlight to creep in and join the warm light of the magically-lit lanterns and the quiet music that played off his phone- now cast onto his bed and long forgotten in his whirlwind of planning.
"I really don't think that animals would help much," The prefect sighed. That makes him stand still for a moment, sighing and casting a sad glance over to the former. He continues to pace, mumbling different ideas out loud and hoping that they would pick up on at least a little bit of what he was saying. Before he knows it, he's yelling excitedly and practically skipping around his spacious room, hands flailing as he jabbers about possible plans to improve his dormmates' wellbeing. He doesn't even notice when the prefect begins to call his name.
"But if it doesn't work, then what?" He finishes, taking a deep breath to look over at them. He takes notice of the concerned look on their face, his energy instantly dissipating as he rushes to their side. "What's wrong? You look sad..."
"I'm not sad, Kali. I'm just a little worried. You're not responsible for everyone's happiness," They explain and Kalim feels his heart shatter as confusion clouds his brain.
"I'm..." He pauses and smiles, letting out a short, silent laugh. "I'm a dorm leader! I have to!"
He gasps when he feels himself trapped suddenly against his wardrobe, cutting off his train of thought roughly as he sucks in a deep breath.
"What are you...?"
"So you'll finally listen to what I'm saying!"
He nods and tries to ignore the feeling in the back of his mind that begs him to squirm. He has been close to the prefect before, yes, but never for a long enough period of time. He'd only done it to help them learn how to do the dances of his hometown, or when he would clean up with them (or attempt to, at least). But this felt completely different from all those times before...
"I'm... listening," He breathes softly after a long pause, making his friend back away for a moment. In that split second, he desperately wishes that he could be as smooth as the princes in all the fairytales he'd grown up reading and pull them back, fighting back the urge to get closer to them once more.
Vil:
"In just a moment," Vil murmured, leaning in closer to the mirror that sat at his desk. The lights would have been blinding if thy hadn't reflected off his light violet eyes so brightly and highlighted each and every product that he layered on his perfect skin. He had a meeting in just an hour, and he was already running behind schedule. His dearest friend, the prefect, was currently lounging on his bed, sprawled out and scrolling on their phone while he focused on perfecting his makeup for the undoubtedly long and boring few hours he had ahead of him.
"Vil-" They whined loudly and, in the corner of his eye, he could watch them dramatically throw their arms in the air and flopping them beside their head as they look into his eyes from the background.
"It won't be long, I promise!"
"Nonsense," He sighs. He couldn't deny that he was hungry and, normally, he was practical about his eating schedule. He ate three square meals, and carried around a healthy snack for if he felt as though he needed something extra to get him through the day. Today, however, he had skipped lunch due to rehearsal, and he was certainly feeling the effects now. He could always ignore this and opt to eat at a later time, perhaps once the meeting was over and he could grab something quick from a nearby restaurant.
He turned to face them, only to notice that they were hovering over him and had slammed their hands on his desk loudly, startling him slightly as he jolted. He was surprised, if he was being honest- he wasn't expecting this type of reaction to come from the sweet, sweet prefect.
He sighs, looking up at them with an eyebrow quirked and a small smile on his face as he observes their annoyed expression, before watching as that expression shifts from annoyance to realization to embarrassment.
"Are these the lengths you're truly willing to go to?" He chuckles, determined to turn the tables. He leans in, enjoying the way the prefect seems caught like a deer in headlights. He leans back and goes back to his makeup, making eye contact with them in the mirror and smiling once more. "Nevertheless, you'll have to wait."
He can barely catch their groan filled with disbelief and annoyance before he continues on his work.
Idia:
"But if I log in for the rest of the week, I should still be at the top of the charts, right? But then, my next problem would be that I hadn't grinded for enough lucky stars yet!" Idia was currently pacing in his room, ranting to his newfound friend as they sat on his bed, listening to his problems eagerly as he carried on. "If I log in, I'll be caught up, but not caught up enough to get the new SSR+ that everyone else probably already has!" He throws his hands up in the air, noticing how, out of the corner of his eye, his firey hair lit up the room in shades of amber as he got more and more worked up. "I mean, how unfair is that? I have to go to school! They prob don't even have to do that or dorm leader stuff, so that's exactly how they got ahead of me! Which sucks!"
"Idia..."
"I mean, I've been playing this game since the release and suddenly all these Magicam normies suddenly get the sneak on me because they just joined? I'm glad the fanbase is growing but I mean come on!"
"Idia!"
"And then they're completely mischaracterizing them! Like, absolutely butchering the characters! Shadow isn't all gloomy all the time- he actually has a soft spot for his teammates which is so cool and also such a big thing for them to ignore!"
"Idia Shroud!"
"And I saw on Magicam that they were completely ignoring the plot and the character development- like, in Blade's SSR+ that was released last year, she clearly mentions the main plot and how much it changed her as a person! And people still have the audacity to ignore her!" He was pacing more quickly now, rambling so quickly that he already felt his mouth going dry. The headphones around his neck blasted the ambient music from the paused game on his PC, but he could care less after seeing one particular post that got him worked up.
He felt himself getting pushed to the wall as he stared down at the prefect in shock, his hair turning a bright crimson as his face went a similar shade. He stammered for a moment before biting his lip to shut himself up, feeling the way his heart hammered in his chest and made his head dizzy as the world around him spun.
He was being kabedon-ed.
Just like in all his shows.
"Th-this-"
"I asked if you wanted something to eat," He could only muster a nod before he gulps, biting his lip once more as he gasps for air and his knees go weak. "Idia."
"How did I-," He murmurs, suddenly feeling faint. "-get this route?" Idia whispered the last word as he felt his entire body go limp as he passed out.
Malleus:
He had been more than fortunate to have made such a close friend- one he can call his first in his very long life thus far. As of recently, however, he'd noticed that his affections had become more than simple friendship- the seeds have been planted within the cold thorn walls of his heart and had begun to blossom into fragrant roses that constricted his chest and dominated his every waking thought. More often than not, he had been able to surpass this feeling that had consumed him, placing on his mask of contentedness whenever they would look his way wearing the smile that would make his heart melt and the fireflies that would often surround him fly a little faster in bright yellow streaks against his pale skin and ivory hair that framed his narrow face.
Now had been one of those moments. They were currently exploring the forest around campus, and Malleus finally had the opportunity to show the prefect a small meadow hidden just outside of the sports field- a bustling meadow, filled with wildflowers that sprouted out of the ground and painted the scenery in all the colors of the rainbow and insects buzzing from flower to flower contentedly. He cast a longing glance over to the human, smiling softly at their awed expression- mouth hanging open as their eyes were so wide he could practically see the entire meadow reflected against their irises.
He had wished so desperately to capture this moment in a little bubble, to place it upon a pedestal in his treasure room and gaze at it whenever the nights seem to be too long. Oh, how he wished he could hold their face in his own hands and that the chill of his skin wouldn't give them a shock. He longed to live with them in this meadow- perhaps run far away from his life of nobility to do just that.
He could practically feel it- the warmth of the sun against his face and the weight of the world lifted off his shoulders as they forage for berries- perhaps they would even take a small nap among the flower fae living in the area, only to wake at sunset and move to make a warm meal together in the small kitchen of their cottage.
Suddenly, he's trapped between a small tree with the human in question practically pinning him against it. His eyes widen for a moment as his mind freezes, struggling to understand the sudden proximity.
"Mal-" Before they could finish their sentence, he had vanished in a cloud of fireflies, leaving the concerned human dazed and alone in the middle of the field.
From that point onwards, Malleus was forced to endure Lilia's incessant teasing about his reaction.
Poly Ayuudeuce (Commission)
5k words. Yuu is GN! This whole thing is about the trio in chapter 5 getting jealous over Epels "date" with Deuce.
Comission for: @like-nxrthernstxrs !
-------
Out of all of the annoyances that have occurred since joint thee Vil Shoeinheit’s competition. One of the silver linings, you suppose was that now your boyfriends were even closer to you, now that they’re in your dorm. Yup, boyfriends, as in two. Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, through all of the trouble you three have been through throughout you time in this world, all of you have grown unbelievably close to each other.
It was hard to remember when exactly you all became official. As time went on, and more issues popped up, so did opportunities to get closer. Hangouts started leaning more and more towards dinners together and sleepovers. You look back at them with such fondness. How ironic it was that you kicked Ace out of you bed the first day he slept over, just to invite him for sleepovers as much as you could now.
You also remember that one time in the Mostro Lounge, where all three of you sat in a curved booth while you chatted and ate. As time went all you and Deuce unconsciously started scooping closer and closer into each other, until you both were practically squeezing Ace between the both of you. Deuce, ever the gentleman even offered to feed you and Ace, the former accepting immediately and refusing to move his arms to feed himself. Floyd was gagging at the sight.
Other students around campus started thinking you all were a weird couple. As Ruggie put it, you three had something weird going on. At the time you didn't think much of it, one could even call it denial; A super close friendship and nothing more.
It wasn't until one night, when you invited them over to study and cram for an upcoming exam. As you quizzed Deuce with flash cards, you heart. Raced with each happy smile he gave you when he got one right. Then Ace looked so cute when he concentrated.
Before you knew it, it was late at night, and the Adeuce duo were exhausted after a long day. You let them sleep over and allowed them to crash in your bed with Grim. The four of you were packed in like sardines, but it felt wonderful being beside you friends. Your face was so close to Ace’s as you both stared into each other’s eyes. Your faces inch closer and and closer until…
“Bleh!” Grim gagged, “Take it somewhere else you two! Right Deuce? … uh… Deuce?” Grim turned to Deuce who stared flusteredly at Yuu and Ace. “Why do I want a kiss too… I mean!” Deuce sputters and makes excuses causing both you and Ace to laugh. Ace leaned in to give Deuce a kiss followed by you who playfully pushed Ace away to give your own. Since then, You’ve all been a couple much to Grim’s dismay.
You grew to be a little jealous over the fact that you and your boyfriends shared a room together in their dorm. At least now with the dance competition coming up, you were able to have them over in your dorm, and even share your room with them again like old times. It was pure bliss to lay between them as they snuggle against you, Grim in another room, not wanting to deal with you three.
You brush your hands through their hair, massaging their scalps lovingly. Leaning down, you press a kiss to both of their temples before they look at each other, then look up at you mischievously. “Why are you both looking at me like that?” You ask ever-so-slightly concerned. “Hmm no reason~” Ace smirks. You glance over at the more responsible Deuce who also wears a mischievous look. “Don’t worry, Yuu-San, its nothing!”
You raised a brow before closing you eyes experimentally as of to prove you hypothesis that they’re up to no good, and they proved you right not even a moment later. Your face is suddenly barraged by two pairs of lips attacking your face with kisses in a barrage of affection. “Ah! You guuuyss!” You giggled as they continued their attack on you, kiss after kiss as you playfully batted them off
Your battle is interrupted by a firm knock on the door belonging to the queen himself, Vil. “I sure do home you three get to speed soon.” He states firmly, “We have to get up early for practice tomorrow.” “Yes sir…” The three of you glumly reply together as the clicking heels tap off into the distance. You all wait until they’re completely gone to begin a new set of more, quieter attacks on each other.

You sat back on a chair as you watched the group in front of you rehearse. The way Jamil moved skillfully on the floor was nothing compared to you lovers, in your opinion. The clumsiness added to the charm, though Vil would most certainly disagree. The main star frowned and crossed his arms at the sight of Deuce and Ace stumbling over each other.
You watched as they balance on each other as they stretched, the way their shirts raised ever-so-slightly to show their midsections had all of your attention. The softness of their stomachs was just beckoning you to kiss them and blow a raspberry or two, as the two continued to stretch and smile at each other, they both took a glance to where you sat. Ace gave a sly wink at you, he was too cute for his good.
“Manager? Manager.” You snap over to look at Vil. “Yes?” Out of the corner of your eye you see Epel join Deuce and Ace in their warm ups, and Vil’s stern voice reminds you that this is rehearsal. “Play the track, Yuu.” “On it, sir.” Pressing the button, you watched as all the men stumbled to get into position to impress Vil. Deuce, Ace, and Epel all stood up tall proceeded to let the rhythm guide them.
As you watched them dance, you sat beside Grim, who was boredly scrolling your phone and playing a few games you downloaded specifically for him. You dreamily stared at your boyfriends as they playfully nudge each other, Deuce stumbling over his feet and Ace trying way too hard. Cuties, both of them.

The day slowly came to a wrap, and all the weary dancers made their way back to your dorm. As an uneventful (and scare) dinner came to a close, you, Deuce, and Ace slinked into your shared room, kicking Grim into a different one. It was much too early to sleep, but you supposed that it just meant there was more time for cuddles.
This time Deuce was in the center as you and Ace squished him between your bodies playfully. You slid your hands under his shirt and rested you cold hand on his stomach, pressing a chaste kiss to his neck before attacking it with smooches, making the spade gasp under your touch. His face was completely pink.
Ace, the sneaky bastard, took this as an opportunity to give a playful pinch ro Deuce ass, making the card soldier squeal. You and Ace snicker amongst yourselves before exchanging a kiss. Deuce laid himself flat on his back to prevent any future attacks on his behind. With a few more kisses to Ace, you lay your head down on Deuces toned stomach, his shirt displaced ever s alightly exposing his navel. You smirk, and blow a raspberry on his stomach, making him squeal once again.

The very next day you awoke to your face squished between Deuce’s and Ace’s arms stretched out across your face. You crack a smile at their warmth before a firm knock to your door stirs you all. A ‘friendly reminder’ from Vil to get up makes you all grumble and toss and turn as you force ourselves up. “I only allowed you three to share a room for morales sake, don’t make me separate you three.” “Yes sir…”
Sighing as you all roll off of each other to stretch, opting to roll onto your stomach as you arch your back and holding out your arms as you stretch. Ace, surprisingly, is the one to get up first. He makes his way towards the bathroom to brush his teeth, Deuce following quickly after. As you overhear Vil’s plans for a sorry and sad breakfast, you had a feeling it was going to be an odd day…

Stretches and warm ups went the same as they usually did up until…
“Ugh! No no no! Manager, stop the music!” Vil yapped as you stretched out your arm to hit pause. “What’s the matter, Vil?” Rook asked, just to be ignored as Vil turns to a certain lavender-haired student. “Epel!” He yells firmly, making everyone around him silent.
“Hoo boy…” Ace starts, muttering under his breath. “Epel’s gonna get another tongue-lashing. I feel bad for the guy after watching this play out everyday…” Deuce gives a firm nod and replies, “He’s on main vocals so Vil must expect a lot out of him, but stil…: Grim whimpers in your arms. “Every time I hear ‘stop the music’ my first instinct is to cower with my tail between my legs…”
“Have you learned nothing from your ballet lessons, Epel?” Vil asks coldly as he struts, circling the poor boy. “I told you to throw out your antiquated notions, I said nothing about acting so half-hearted! Do not sing the words without thinking about what they mean. This song is more than lip service.”
“But… But” The young man sputters in frustration. “This is the most charming I can sound…” Vil tuts ans sighs, “Being charming is another matter entirely. Do you think that will be enough to take Niege down? Now take it from the top!” The blond barked at him, making Epel flinch. A harrowing silence hung in the air.
You, Grim. Deuce, Ace, and the other members all flinched as Epel clenched his fist and shook in rage. “I… I don’t… I don’t WANNA be cute! I never wanted to be in Pommefiore to start with! And I don’t want to compete in the SDC either!” Vil let out an unamused sigh as Epel continued, crossing his arms. “I didn’t come to Night Raven University to sing and dance, I came here to get stronger!” Epel stomped, built up tears on the verge of falling. You felt awful for him, Deuce even more. He wanted to wipe his friend’sstears away.
“I don't wanna be some dainty little flower! I wanna be BIG and STRONG and TOUGH!” Epel shook as Vil taps his nails against his arm. “Unbelievable. Most of us grow out of temper tantrums by the age of three. You speak of ‘charming’ and ‘strong’ as if they are mutually exclusive, when in fact they are both equally valid forms of power. As long as you fail to make that distinction, you will never be a match for me.”
Deuce and Ace looked at each other then to you. Epel then snapped to Vil. “Oh get off your high horse! I'm done with this!” Epel stomped, “I’m quitting.” “WHAT?!” Everyone yelled in unison looking between each other. Kalim and Rook looked most shocked of all. Deuce was visibly cringing at the events unfolding.
“Very well it is time for the usual then.” “The usual, Vil?” You ask nervously. “Go on Epel get out your magical pen.” It was most definitely a fight, but there was nothing you can do but watch.’I’ll put you in your place!”
The two line up across from each other, pen in hand, building up to a what could be potentially be an epic battle. yet, there wasn’t much of a fight to even describe. Vil merely dodged and magic headed to him and with a few quick spells, Epel was felled by Vil, the poor man couldn't even get a hit in. The look of shock and the saddened expression of Deuce’s face told you you were all worried for the freshman, especially Deuce, you note. A twinge of jealousy plucked at your heartstrings before you shove away said feelings.
“And there we have it. I win as usual.” Vi; hums, looking down at Epel with an unimpressed stare as the loser sat hunched on the floor. “If you don’t shape up soon, you will never ;and a single blow on me. Focus on being strong first, them be yourself…” “Harsh…” Ace mutters. Whispers come from the group arounds yu, mainly pleas for Vil to calm down and queries of concern toward Epel
“Dagnabbit! I just… I just…!” Epel got up and silently rushed out, making Deuce call out his name in concern. Deuce turned towards Vil, and you had a feeling it wouldn’t be good. “Dont you feel you’re being a little to harsh, sir?” He asked. “He’s been putting a lot of effort into his dancing and you’re just dismissing it”
“Spare me the infantile notion that hard word guarantees an award!” Vil spat, and you clenched your fists. “For that matter, spudling, you have no bandwidth to spend worrying about others. You are far behind all the other members in performance. You are slowing us all down.” “I know that sir…” The way Deuce’s voice trembled filled you with rage. “Then dont talk like you’re a full-fledged ensemble member when youre nothing more than dead weight…”
Deuce took a deep breath in. “Sorry sir.” You got up and made your way to Deuce as he retreated, Ace tagging along. “Sheesh, you really set him off…” Ace sighed. “See, this is why I keep telling you to keep your head down and stop butting into things. Youre not exactly smart about this stuff, Loosey-Deucey.” You tensed up, sensing that Ace had no idea what he just implied.
“Grrr…” Deuce shook. “SHUT UP!” Deuce barked, tears welling up in his eyes. “YOU THINK I DONT THAT?!” “Ace!” “Woaah woah easy you two!” “A ‘smart guy’ like you would never understand!” And with that Deuce walked out, shaking the whole way.
“Ace what the hell man?!” “What?!” Grim sighed, “You know… sometimes you need to consider other peoples feelings, Ace.” “I dont wanna hear that from you!” With a sigh, you walked away. “I think this calls for a break…” Jamil suggests. The room all murmurs in agreement and you go to step outside for a breather.
What a terrible day so far. A fight with both of your lovers...
****
The hours pass, and yet you and Ace have refused to even look at each other, waiting patiently for Deuce to come back. After another hour of not speaking to each other, you are suddenly approached by Ace as you eat your small bowl of rice (Vil said it was all you were allowed to eat. Not that it matter since it was ‘“All Crowley could afford” anyways…) You set down your utensils and crossed your arms, giving a stern look.
“Look…” Ace stuttered a bit and held out his hands. “Can we just forget about what happened…?” “I think you owe Deuce an apology. You know how difficult school is for him.” Ace’s pride would never allow that thoug,h, but you know he will find a way to silently admit he was wrong later. “Right…” he responded under his breath.
“Yuu!” Kalim shouted, getting your attention. the bright spark of sunshine ran up to you happily. “Deuce and Epel are back” He proudly informs as you and Ace look at each other before sprinting out to go see him..
****
Ace sighed as he came back from his conversation with Deuce over to where you stood, checking on Epel. “Are you sure you’re okay?” You ask, Epel nods. “Yeah, we just went out to beach together s’all.” Ace perked up. “The beach?” He asked dumbly before blinking.
“Yeah! Before we were interruppted we watched the sunset toegther and was playin’ in the waves.” You and Ace looked at eachother, before looking over to where Deuce stood in front of Vil, apologixing for his outburst. “You.. watched the sunset… with Deuce…” You stated, making Epel nod.
“Yeah! Why're you lookin’ at me like that— oh— OH! Oh my goodnedd Im so sorry! We didn't do nothing! Aw shucks, I didn't mean it!” “No no Epel. You're fine.” Youinterrupt. “Yeah… Yeah.. we're just gonna go talk to Deucey is all” Ace said, wearing a strained smile that he picked up from Trey.
Epel muttered another apology before running off.
****
“Deuce.” Ace spoke, crossing his arms. It hasn't even been a second since he closed the door to your shared room. Deuce turned around to look at where you both stood, crossing your arms. “Yes…? Why do I get the feeling I am in trouble?” He asked nervously.
“Well, MAYBE it's because you took Epel out on a blast cycle date on the beach!” Ace accused, saltily. “E-EH?!” “And!” You huffed, playfully “You even watched the sunset with him!” “W-wait!” “Is there something you want to say, Deuce?” Ace glared at the blue-haired (And pronoun-ed) male. “W-wait it's not like that!” He sputtered and you almost felt bad about pretending to be as mad as you were.
“I don't want to hear it! Ace turned his back and lifted his head up, making a ‘hmph!’At that, Deuce visibly relaxed, knowing you both (or at least you weren’t) were not genuinely upset as Ace continued. “I cannot believe you cheated on us! I refuse to forgive you unless you take US out on a date like you did Epel!” He sighed.
Deuce just stared for a moment, before closing his eyes. “That is only fair…” You and Ace smirked at each other, “After the competition though!” “Fine!” You and Ace settle on the arrangement as you finally welcom both boyfriends back into your bed for a much needed cuddle session.
****
Ugh…
You didn’t even want to budge this morning at the event of yesterday’s overblot. Vil really put you through the wringer. He was utterly ruthless, despite his beautiful appearance his blot was ruthless, injecting you with inky toxins that shot through your veins.
You remember the horrified looks on Deuce and Ace’s faces. How their features contorted in horror and voices became rasp with how they yelled out. The way the spell felt when it penetrated your stomach. looking down and holding the wound in pain as utter agony coursed through your veins. Not being able to scream because of the bile that rose in your throat.
Even now as you lift an arm up to examine it you can see the darkened veins that adorned you. Yet another scar from a blot that may or may not heal. Next to you, you felt Ace and Deuce sandwiching you between them. Both grip onto you as if you would slip through their fingers in their sleep as you almost did the day before. Bruises of all colors stained their bodies along with a few scrapes that highlighted their features.
even now they were ethereal in your eyes. Ace’s bedhead shifts slightly before his face emerges from where it rested on your shoulder. The bags under his eyes and exhausted demeanor seem to melt away when he looks at you, features immediately softening. You chuckled airily at the smudged heart makeup on his eye. “Morning sleepyhead,” you tease, poking his cheek just to get the breathy reply of ‘morning.’
Ace sits up, turning to give you a once over, holding onto your wrist as he inspects the blackened veins along your arm. frowning. The frown turns into a small scowl as he stared off into the distance, obviously thinking of the battle by the blank look in his eyes. You would imagine he’d still be animatedly ranting and complaining if he wasn't so tired. The scowl on Ace’s face turns to his classic mischievous grin as he looks over at Deuce.
Before you could even tell of Ace, he leans over and grabs Deuce’s face, shaking it. “Wakey, wakey! Wakey wakey it’s time for school!” “UWAH?!” Deuce shot out, making Ace laugh as much as he could before holding his bruised ribs in pain. “Is it really time for school?!” Deuce wheezed from his own bruises, “We’re going to be late!” The blue-haired man shot up, kicking off the blanket on him weakly.
Before Deuce could even leave the bed you grabbed his wrist and pulled him back to bed. “Ace was just messing with you, the bastard—” “Hey!” You smirked, ignoring him, “You can sleep in Deuce, you’re fine.” Deuce rubs his eyes, smudging his spade makeup further and getting some of it onto his fingers, “Is it?” He asked bewildered, no doubt still half-asleep. Deuce allows you to pull him back in for cuddles, making Ace let out a scandalized noise.
“Hey! Let me in!” Ace whined, pulling your side so you are forced flat on your back. He snakes his arms around you and holds onto Deuce roughly, yet lovingly as he usually does. Drifting off back to sleep, you melt into the lazy embraces of your lovers.
****
...
..
.
“Does it hurt?” Deuce asks, blinking a few times. His calloused yet gentle fingers run along your arms, tracing your blackened veins. “I’m fine, really, just… sore…” You let out a pained hiss as you push yourself to sit up. Ace sputters for a moment as the sounds of popping joints fill his ears. “Hey, hey, hey! What are you doing?!”
Ace huffs and Deuce stares dumbfoundead at you, as if you just proved the answer to his question wrong. Suddenly before the two could scold and worry over you, your stomach lets out a groan. “Ugh, I’m starving…” You hold your stomach in pain, stomach punishing you for not eating since yesterday.
Deuce looked over at you, his wide eyes turned to those filled with determination. How cute he looked when he was focused. “Then I will cook for us, prefect!” Deuce announced happily, referring to you with such respect as he did when you first met, an adorable grin on his face. “I’ll join you.” You push yourself up, just for a searing pain to rush through your body. Your body refused to work with you as a dull sensation erupts from your back.
“Gnh!” You let out another hiss and collapse back onto your moth-bitten mattress, wincing in pain. “Yuu!” “Are you alright?” You couldn’t tell who was who as you slip your hands under your shirt to rub soothing circles onto you back where Vil struck you. “I-I’ll be okay. I guess my body still needs time to heal…” You whine and close your eyes. Silence hangs in the roo as the two boys look at eachother then to you.
“Stay here, Yuu. I’ll help Loosey-Deucy here make breakfast. Maybe I’ll bring you some if I feel like it.” Ace teases to lighten the mood causeing Deuce to nudge the read-head roughly. “Okay fine, Ill bring you breakfast because I am such a great boyfriend.” Ugh, did Crowley possess him or something. You would hsve happily quipped if you weren’t so tired. You close your heavy eyes and drift off to sleep as the other two bicker, stepping out of the room.
****
The spade and the heart soldiers trekked carefully along the creaky wooden floors of ramshackle, floorboards threatening to leave splinters in their socks as they continued to step through the hallway to the stairs. Perhaps it was because they both are still exhausted, but no words were spoken as they lean against each other affectionately as they walked, letting the noisy floors speak for them.
Descending down the cracked and dusty wooden stairs, and into the cobweb infested room they took a good look around the place now that no one else was there. Ace never realized just how bare it was until now. The rooms were devoid of any personality with only a few random items left strewn about in an attempt to liven the place up. Even then it was most of Grim’s messiness that was responsible for it. You didn't have much to call your own. He needs to start stepping up and giving you more things.
Deuce continues to make his way to the kitchen, noting your shoes that sat by teh door and your jacket that hung up. Turning to the door next to him and opening it, he let out a cough at the amount of dust that came out. Didn’t Yuu just clean it the day of the blot? The tought dies on his tongue as Ace let out a cough as well. Turning his head to face him he looks at Ace, whose makeup was still smudged
A slight smirk rose to Deuce’s lips. “What?” Ace asks annoyedly. “You’re handsome is all,” Deuce replies wryly, making Ace’s face light up a rosy red. “Ha… Hah?” The red-head gapes, stupefied before looking away, trying to hang onto his pride. “What’re you going on about?” “What am I not allowed to compliement my boyfriend?” Deuces smirk widens to smug expression. “Even with his smudged makeup.”
Ace covers his eyes for a moment, feeling the ruined heart on eye as Deuce chuckles. Defensively, Ace tenses up, “You’re spade is smudged too!” “Its is?” Deuce’s smirk drops as he feels his face and notices the blank ink on his hands. The two stared at each other, both faces slightly pink. Usually, the two would have fought and teased ech other, hell they do it any given moment they have, yet they just stare at each other for a moment, before cracking up gently in quiet laughter.
It was quite hard to not be grateful for each other after a rough fight, Deuce and Yuu may have admitted how worried they were for each other, but Ace was still in shock at the events of yesterday. He will happily cherish each moment he has with his partners today, even if it means he comes off sappy… which he isn't!
****
In the dilapted kitchen sat stove as ancient as the school. The old-fashioned and rather gross-looking refrigerator was in working order, suprisingly. The rusted sink had both clean and heated water since you’ve complained enough about it to Crowley. The countertops weren’t entirely dusty for once, and the cabinets were mostly bare; only enough cutlery and plates enough for a few people were stored away.
Opening the heavy door to the fridge, Deuce looked inside. It was sad how barren the inside was, a small carton of eggs, a small half-gallon of milk, a few cans of tuna, and a handful of foraged vegetables and berries. At least Yuu was given some spices recently from Kalim…
Ace let out a low whistle at the sight. “Eggs it is then…” Ace opened a few other cabinets and pulled out an old beat up metal pan. He handed it to Deuce who immediately got to work with the stove-top. Heating up the pan, Deuce cracked a few eggs into a bowl and beat them with one of the very few pairs of chopsticks stored away. Adding some basic salt and pepper, along with a dash of milk. After mixing it he knew the mixture was ready.
Just as Deuce was about to pour the omelet, Ace’s hands suddenly ghosted his sides.“H-hey! Ace!” Deuce squeaked much to his embarrassment, making some of the eggs spill out onto the pan. “I'm trying to cook!” He pouted, trying to act serious to mask his surprise. Ace just smirked and gave a small chuckle, resting his head on Deuce’s Shoulder. “I'm not stopping you~” he replied in a shit-eating tone
Deuce huffed, and poured the rest of mixture into the pan lifting his arms to allow Deuce to hold onto his waist. The read heads cheek pressed against Deuces, watching closely at Deuce’s focused expression as the male twists the omelet on his chopsticks for a tornado effect.
With a sly grin, Ace’s fingers shot up towards his sides, in an attempt to tickle him that that was cut short by Deuce grabbing his wrist, “eh?” Deuce shot a half hearted glare. “My ribs are bruised, stupid. And come on, we need to have breakfast.”
Ace forgot. It was impossible to tease Deuce when he was so deadset on something, especially his precious eggs,
****
“Yuu… Hey Yuu…"
“Sheesh are they still asleep?”
Huh? You stretched out groggily and wiped your eyes before opening them. “Finally!” Ace huffed. “Breakfast is ready… How’s your back by the way?” Propping yourself up on some pillows with less pain. you guided the plate from Deuce's hand to your lap. “I’ve been better.” You chuckle before wincing at the sharp pain that coursed through you.
Ace and Deuce both join you in the bed with their own plates and chopsticks. They forgot how hungry they were from last night, the adrenaline must have had a toll on them, the transition from a fight to a performance was no joke. It was a pleasant silence you all sat in, an intimate sort of moment. How did these two dweebs get too close to you you wonder as you watch Ace attempt to steal soke bites Deuces food.
“This is better than any beach date we could have planned.” You smiled as the two looked over at you, confused. “Then again, any moment with you both is more than enough.” “Eh what’s with all this sappy stuff, Yuu?” “Oh nothing I just love you both is all” “Yuu…” Deuce trailed off dreamily, blush creeping to his face,’
Ace took this as an opportunity to successfully steal a bite from Deuces plate. “Hah, you're too cheeky…” Ace teased before turning his head away so neither of you could see his reddening face, “But I guess this is a really good date…”
You chuckle, and put your plate to the side admiring the view of your lovers finishing their meals quickly so they can join you and cuddle. There truly was a silver lining to that stupid camp after all.

Octavinelle
Octatrio/Prefect (Yuu,MC,OC) Romantic Poly
One-sided Riddle/Prefect
SCHOOL UNITY
“This is workplace harassment, you know.”
Azul let out one of his dramatic gasps, gloved hand placed over his heart as if the Prefect had landed a mortal blow.
“How could you say such a thing, my pearl?” he asked with a liberal tone of offense that he had to internally fight to keep when their beloved human’s expression remained a very unimpressed and very dry glare. “I am a merfolk of my word and I would certainly never break a term of contract, especially for my dearest employee!”
“I never agreed to this.” They said pointedly, crossing their arms over their chest and refusing to cooperate with how Jade was attempting to take their measurements.
“Aa, but you also didn’t NOT agree to it.” Azul said smoothly, flashing a charming smile. “You see, angelfish, your work contract includes the requirement for the approved uniform to be worn each shift that you are to be paid for.”
“This isn’t the uniform! I already HAVE my uniform and it’s not…THIS!” they threw their hands up into the air in frustration.
“You do have a set of our common uniform, yes, but I have come up with a brilliant idea that will help us improve attendance and sales. For these special promotions the uniforms will be…unique.” He said cheerfully, clapping his hands together and ignoring the snickering from Floyd behind them.
“Koebi-chan is going to be even more adorable than usual!” he cackled from his place on the couch where he was flicking through various catalogues and fabric books. “I’ll have to squeeze you even more than normal to handle it!”
“Jade!?” they complained, tugging their arm away from the calmer tweel as he tried to measure their wrist and fingers. “Why are you okay with this? Isn’t it going to be a lot of work for you to make these things?”
“Perhaps,” he replied smoothly, though his eyes couldn’t hide the dark glee he was enjoying from seeing the prefect so flustered and defiant. “But I have found that sewing, while not my favorite hobby, does have it’s own sort of charm. Especially when I will have such a cute model.”
Azul couldn’t hide his chuckle when their lover groaned, dropping their head into their hands and trying to hide the faint blush on their cheeks. They had gotten somewhat used to the tweel’s form of flirting, but thankfully not completely. Thankful for the Octavinelle trio at least. Their blush really was lovely.
“Do not fret, my pearl, you will be compensated handsomely for your part in my sche-plans. If my projections are correct, you will be receiving a ten percent increase for the promotional shifts you work and if the outcome is greater then I will raise it accordingly.” He promised, knowing instantly that he had won them over.
Oh the stubborn human refused outright to let him take care of their living expenses – spouting some nonsense about not wanting the three to think they were with them for financial gain, as if Azul wasn’t willing to do it even if they were – but they wouldn’t argue against pay raises that were fair for work done.
The prefect’s shoulders sagged and they let their hands fall away to turn a pouting but resigned look up at him.
“Thirty percent.” They shot back.
“Fifteen.”
“Twenty-five and not a madol lower. I can see some of the sketches from here and if I’m going to be wearing that in front of the whole school then I’m going to get what I deserve.” They said stubbornly, not realizing that Azul had actually planned for at least forty percent going to the Prefect if he had to.
“Then it’s a deal, my dear.” He nearly purred, almost being able to feel the stacks of madols in his hands that he would be earning with this idea.
He shook their hand before leaning down to place a teasing kiss on the back and then spinning to all but skip to his desk.
“Be sure to run the designs by Vil, won’t you, Jade? He has quite an eye for these things you know and I’m sure he’ll simply ADORE what we have cooked up.”
“And that stalker of his will get the word out quicker than anything!” Floyd cackled.
“Arms out, angelfish.” Jade grinned.
The prefect groaned but gave in.
-
“Cater, really, there’s no need to pull.” Riddle frowned in consternation, tugging his wrist away from the overexcited ginger who couldn’t stop babbling about this ‘special promotion’ thing that Mostro Lounge had started advertising.
“Ya don’t understand! If we’re not early we won’t be able to find a seat! I can’t miss this kind of photo op! My likes are gonna be through the roof! I wonder if the Prefect will let me get a picture with them.” He rambled with a wide smile as he typed away on his phone at a speed that made Riddle’s mind boggle.
“You’re going to have to have to get behind us!” Ace cackled. “We’re their besties, ya know!”
“We should definitely take pictures since Sebek and Jack couldn’t come.” Deuce agreed with a nod, Grim hanging off his shoulder.
“Well I’m gonna order the biggest tuna dish ever!” the monster said happily, dreaming of the delicious food that was waiting for him.
“I wonder what the theme is going to be.” Epel said thoughtfully from between the two card soldiers. “Vill-senpai has really gotten into the planning once Jade stopped by a few weeks ago. He won’t tell me anything about it though and Rook just giggles and starts spouting poetry no one can understand.”
“Well, we won’t be staying long.” Riddle said firmly. “Midterms are in a few days and all of you need to stay focused on not falling behind.” He ignored the groans from the first years and Cater.
Trey just laughed as they passed through the mirror into Octavinelle dorm grounds and patted his friend on the shoulder.
“I’m sure they will do fine. This will be a good stress relief for everyone.” He said, trying to ease some of the housewarden’s annoyance at being dragged along.
Of course, he gave the excuse of needing to ensure that the others didn’t go overboard, but it was impossible to miss how he caved once he heard it involved their Ramshackle Prefect.
“Perhaps but-“
The group paused when they saw the entrance to the restaurant was decorated with roses and various displays that definitely gave off a ‘Heartslabyul’ vibe but with a distinct elegance that spoke of Azul’s influence.
“What is this ‘theme’ supposed to be?” Riddle questioned as Cater gasped and rushed forward through the other students in line to enter and began taking pictures both of the entrance and himself as well with them in the background.
Epel blinked and looked around in confusion as they entered, the Queendom of Hearts décor continuing on farther.
“I don’t know, Vil just said something about ‘school spirit’ and ‘loyalty’.” He shrugged.
“Yeah, the fliers the twins were passing out just said Heartslabyul gets a ten percent discount tonight on top of the ticket promotion.” Ace said, grinning as he looked around at the rather packed lounge – mostly by familiar red, white, and black uniforms.
“Oh hey! Jade-senpai!” Deuce said suddenly, waving his arm at the tall vice-housewarden.
The eelmer’s calm smile widened just a bit as he walked in their direction, giving a polite bow.
“Welcome to Mostro Lounge, Housewarden Riddle. We were hoping you would be joining us this evening. Azul was quite positive that you would enjoy yourself. Might I show you all to a table?” He said, looking quite different in the black suit, black striped shirt, and blood red tie and gloves. There was a single white rose in his lapel pocket.
Riddle gave the tall – TOO TALL! – eelmer a distrusting glare but gave in finally at Cater’s very insistent begging.
“Very well.” He sighed, shooting a harsher glare at Ace when the boy gave a little cheer and pumped his fist.
“So what’s all this about!?” Cater asked excitedly, holding up his phone to record Jade’s answer.
Jade chuckled smoothly as he led the group through the crowd of students towards a large table near the center of the room that had obviously been reserved for the Heartslabyul housewarden. The décor was a bit more elaborate without being gaudy and everything was set up to the Heartslabyul rules.
“Why, Azul wishes to give back to the school, of course.” He said, even pulling the chair at the end out for Riddle. “After so much has happened he’s wanted to strengthen our bonds as NCR students and help to share the diverse cultures of our dorms with all on campus. It really is quite a shame, after all, that there is so many interesting traditions and styles that the other houses only barely get a peek at.”
Riddle glared again but did take the seat offered, looking around the room and noticing that while there WERE many Heartslabyul students there were quite a lot from the other dorms as well, even a couple from Ignihyde who were congregating in a corner. While it wasn’t like the houses completely segregated themselves from each other, friendships across dorms were less common than among dormmates and clubs. Now, though, there were more students intermingling, particularly with the Heartslabyul students than normal. Azul’s plan was obviously working.
“I suppose…if it means that more students will be able to experience a piece of our traditions…then it is fine.” He finally conceded. “But I will have none of our Queen’s etiquette broken! They may not be under my purview but-“
“Fret not, Housewarden Riddle.” Jade assured him before the red head could work himself up into a lecture. “Azul has scoured your exhaustive collection of rules and made adjustments to both cutlery and the menu accordingly.”
Riddle glared, still not trusting the octomer in the slightest but had to give in when it really did seem like everything was being handled well and with respect.
“Very well.” He finally agreed, making Jade’s grin widen to show the sharp, shark-like teeth.
“Then please, enjoy yourselves and I will send your server right over.”
Trey sent Riddle a comforting smile as the other boys all began looking through the menus and chattered away at the options available. All had a Heartslabyul flare but were different enough to be a special treat for even those of the dorm.
“You shouldn’t worry so much, Riddle. It’s just dinner. It’s not like Azul is tricking us into a contract. We’ll even get to see…the…oh, my.”
Riddle blinked when Trey’s gaze moved past and settled on something behind him.
Expecting a trap of some king, Riddle snapped his head around.
Instantly his face burst into a brilliant crimson.
“Welcome to Mostro Lounge, everyone! I’ll be your server today so please let me know if there’s anything I can do for you.” The Prefect chirped.
Riddle wasn’t even capable of forming thoughts let alone respond.
“Whoa! What do they got you dressed up in?” Ace cackled, leaning around Deuce to take in their friend’s ‘uniform’.
“Whatever do you mean, Ace? This is the Queendom of Hearts, after all. Isn’t it only proper for the Queen to be served by his most loyal servant?” They smiled sweetly, one of the fluffy white rabbit ears peaking out of their hair flicking slightly.
Riddle almost swallowed his tongue.
“You’re the Queen’s right hand rabbit!” Cater cried in delight, jumping from his chair and zooming to their friend’s side to start taking pictures.
The Prefect only smiled and even did a few poses in the detailed uniform. Red and black puffed shorts that would have been utterly indecent in Riddle’s eyes if it wasn’t for the cream-colored tights pattered with dark red, lace detail along the thighs and card suit symbols trailing down the length of their legs to the black and gold heels. A cream, black and gold corset vest sat over a red silk shirt with a large cream bow around their neck. The tails of the shirt were cut specifically to frame the white bunny tail set at the base of their spine and twitched every now and then as the ears did – showing they were either magical or electronic.
And sitting in the middle of their bow was a rose that was brighter red than the rest of the outfit.
A red matching the exact shade of Riddle’s hair.
Riddle felt like his heart was going to break out of his chest when the Prefect turned their sparkling gaze and smile on him. WERE THEY WEARING LIPSTICK!?
“Since you are a VIP customer, Riddle-sama-“ Oh my sweet seven. “-I’ll be seeing to your every need. Please don’t hesitate to call on me whenever you like. I’m at your beck and call. Now, what would everyone like to start with for drinks?”
Riddle wasn’t going to survive this.
-
“You are an evil man, Azul.” The Prefect said when they dropped onto the couch in his office at the end of the night, throwing their legs into Jade’s lap with a groan. “And I want thirty-five percent.”
The octomer chuckled from his place at his desk, counting the stacks of madol that had flooded in that night with glee.
“Of course, my pearl. I should reward your acting skills, after all. You far exceeded my expectations.” He said, looking over to their lover as Jade gently removed the heels from their feet to set aside and began massaging their aching limbs.
The Prefect let out a soft moan that was far more distracting than they intended, and closed their eyes to relax and be pampered after their hard work. Jade’s fingers really were something else.
“Yeah, yeah, well don’t expect that level of schmoozing all the time.” They warned. “You’re just lucky that it’s fun to make Riddle-senpai blush so much.”
“Isn’t it!?” Floyd cackled as he skipped into the room, draping himself over the back of the couch and tugging their human up into an awkward but enthusiastic kiss before dropping them back on the pillows. “And don’t worry! I taught the catfish from Savanaclaw to keep his hands to himself.”
“Yes, I do apologize for that, my dear.” Jade said. “I knew that table was going to be difficult and I shouldn’t have sent you to them. It won’t happen again.”
The Prefect hoped that the guy still HAD hands.
“It’s fine.” They waved it off, repositioning themself better on the pillows. “I was expecting that to happen eventually.” They admitted.
There was a beat before Jade gave a low chuckle.
“Fufufu…I see, so that is why you requested the heals to be reinforced.”
“They are called ‘stiletto’ heels for a reason. No one enjoys having a shoe puncture through their foot.” They answered with a yawn.
Hearing the guy’s squeal had been pretty satisfying.
Jade must have thought so too with how his hands were wandering.
“Be that as it may, we will take steps for such incidents to be prevented in the future.” Azul assured them, his brow furrowing at the one memory of the night that was less than pleasing.
The Prefect just nodded with their eyes closed, knowing that their lovers would handle it even if they were perfectly capable of doing it themself.
“Just don’t forget my bonus.”
Azul couldn’t help but chuckle, watching as their human allowed Jade to maneuver them and divest them of the different pieces of the costume until they were only left in the silk shirt. He let his gaze trace over the lines and curves of their legs that still draped across Jade’s lap as the eelmer calmly folded each piece and set them aside.
Remembering how vicious their smile had been when they broke that brute’s foot.
Sometimes it was impossible for him not to imagine what their little angelfish would be like as a merfolk. How beautiful their fins would be…or tentacles. He loved them exactly as they were but it was such a shame that the chance for such a devastatingly being to be trapped on land.
But they wouldn’t be trapped forever.
Azul had plans for that as well.
Glancing down at the madol stacked around him and the piles of paperwork that he still needed to do, he allowed himself a chance to celebrate their success and swiftly gathered and locked everything in his vault before making his way over to the sofa and bending down to gather the Prefect in his arms.
They obligingly wrapped their arms around his neck, knowing that their weight was nothing to the octomer, and laid their head against his shoulder.
“If you’re scheming something, you’d better be ready to do all the work because I deserve a pillow princess night.” They said blandly, causing Floyd to cackle and jump to his feet.
“Koebi-chan is so cute when they get demanding.” He teased, grinning when the Prefect stuck their tongue out at him over Azul’s shoulder.
“Of course, dearest, anything you wish.” Azul smiled, not even bothering to act like they had to make deals anymore to get anything they wanted from him.
After all, there was only one contract that he was working to convince them to accepting in the future and there was still an empire he needed to build first.
Only the best for their angelfish.
------------------------------------------
Did Azul place Riddle's table in the middle of the Lounge so that it would maximize everyone's view of the Prefect?
Yes.
Is he jealous that practically the whole school has a crush on their Angelfish?
Also yes.
Will that stop him from taking advantage of that fact while also rubbing in how the Prefect was with them?
Not at all.
Hope you guys like it! Dedicated to my sis who thinks our octotrio works best with a little prefect right in the middle.
Once I get my AO3 page set up I'll cross post these so that they'll be easier to find.

Azul Ashengrotto, your hand in marraige sir 💕
