I am very sloppy when painting. Looking at it again I saw a lot of mistakes, so I polished it a little.
The background is coming together. Will work on it before getting back and finishing the elf lady. =)
Painting the face
A quick update on the art. Not near completion yet, but the face got definition and the skin tone is where I like it to be. I am using Krita for this piece. It's a new software for me since I've being using Photoshop for a long time, and I'm still getting the hang of it. This time I really want it to be close to the artworks that inspired it, which means making the brush textures stand out.
