Some rocks in Tasmania I photographed in 2016. I always liked how the swirls of the wave foam had such a consistent and coherent pattern.

I'm not confident on the lifespan of cockatoos but just a reminder that this cockatoo is probably still out there bming photographs all around.

Couple of years ago I photographed this cockatoo and it literally defecated and flew away. I still can’t get over the utter spite in his face as he unleashes the ultimate fuck you.
“You want a photograph? Photograph this!”
Hey! I really like how you shoot your photos, but what kind of device do you use for your photography? I’m trying to pursue photography myself but I don’t know what gear to start with :-)
I started out with a Canon 600D which I borrowed from school, I later bought a Nikon D7200 which is what a lot of my photos on here are. I now own an A7III which I've primarily just used for professional work and haven't posted much with it due to losing motivation with social media. Honestly these days phones are good enough that you're likely getting a far better deal buying a high end phone than an expensive camera because they are seriously expensive. Plus on top you actually get a phone alongside other features. Personally anything midrange camera wise these days is a waste of money when phones are as good as they are. (sorry I took so long to answer this btw)
I figured it might be interesting to start showing the original versions of some of my pictures? This is one of the earliest taken at Den of Nargun, Australia - 2015. At the time I didn't own a camera and had to borrow an old Canon 600D from school. One of the primary reasons I decided to edit/paint over it was I couldn't compete with others who had big expensive fancy cameras and I was playing Terraria at the time so I liked the idea of transforming reality to adhere to ideals of escapism.

If this was Terraria, it would appear that the Hallow is spreading.
