how many characters can you have at one time?
good question ! currently on the server, players have between one and three characters. for new members, i’d prefer they wait at least a week before picking up more ! (i would say the max at the moment would probably be four)

how does a discord rp work? i've never been part of one
good question ! i have some resources listed on the faq page about discord rps, which you can find here. i would like to reassure you that every single member will be there to help any first time discord players along the way always ! it’s a bit to take in at first, but after a couple days, everybody becomes expert !
but to answer your question a bit more in depth: our discord roleplay utilizes a bot called tupperbox that lets people send messages as their characters. and from there, there are IC group chats, instant messaging, social medias, along with traditional para based literate roleplay channels sorted by location ! if you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to reach out !
