The second one makes me think that Sokka’s related to Varick from LOK or that maybe Varick’s a reincarnation ‘cause Korra met the OG gaang members that were still alive (Katara, Zuko and Toph) but we never saw Korra interacting with Sokka or Suki. Varick’s character could be the directors’ way of showing that “friendships can last more than a lifetime” even if you don’t know it.
