Yeah, same here. I personally don’t ship them together, but if people do, that’s cool. I just think that even if you take out the romantic feelings Raphtalia has for Naofumi, their relationship is still pretty well written. I adore their dynamic and the way he practically raised her, so I too, think they have more of a parent-child relationship. Also, now that I think about it, in the anime, they only shed light about Raphtalia’s feelings, right? So maybe, that’s also a reason I don’t ship them.
