Asoiaf Meme (minor Characters): 2/9 Scenes ~ A Feast For Crows, The Princess In The Tower

asoiaf meme (minor characters): 2/9 scenes ~ a feast for crows, the princess in the tower
Her father plucked up a cyvasse piece. “I must know how you learned that Quentyn was abroad. Your brother went with Cletus Yronwood, Maester Kedry, and three of Lord Yronwood’s best young knights on a long and perilous voyage, with an uncertain welcome at its end. He has gone to bring us back our heart’s desire.“
She narrowed her eyes. “What is our heart’s desire?”
“Vengeance.” His voice was soft, as if he were afraid that someone might be listening. “Justice.” Prince Doran pressed the onyx dragon into her palm with his swollen, gouty fingers, and whispered, “Fire and blood.” // deepika padukone as arianne martell

Hi, I like your question!
And yes, at least I try to make a particular style of clothing for each location, tho I think there’s diversity of gowns and dresses (specially in areas like Kings Landing where people arrive from various places of Westeros or even Essos)
So, I made some sketches that usually i have in mind when I read asoiaf, of course there is a strong inspiration in historical clothing, and I took into account adaptation to the climatic environment.
Also, here you can see a more detailed idea of how I view the clothing in each area.
Thank you for your ask!!!
game of thrones fandom blogs are really surreal because they’re engaging whole-heartedly with grrm’s fantasy body of fakey historical documents like they’re larping actual historians, but they’re doing it to answer purely fandom-ish questions like “is this dude a good dude or a bad dude.” we’re talking countless paragraphs trying to parse the reliability and intentions of biased fake narrators and the documentary evidence they left behind to have bitter arguments about whether it’s ok to have a fan crush on a character 0.001% of game of thrones fans have ever even heard of. it’s breathtaking really

a little portrait of Daenerys and Jon. Some folks asked if I’d ever paint Jon with more of the First Men look to him, and I wanted to roll with that.

“King, court and commons were all outraged by the news. Neither Daemon’s wife nor Rhaenyra’s husband had been dead even half a year; to wed again so soon was an insult to their memories, His Grace declared angrily. The marriage had been performed on Dragonstone, suddenly and secretly. Septon Eustace claims Rhaenyra knew her father would never approve of the match, so she wed in haste to make certain he could not prevent the marriage. Mushroom puts forward a different reason: the princess was once again with child and did not wish to birth a bastard.”
Daemon was a lot of things but at least he supported his queen and never killed her ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@chillyravenart and I coincidentally started drawing very similar pictures at the same time without even knowing it, we are part of the same hivemind.

I think you are Rhaegar Targaryen’s sister.
