Oft as not, the Asshai’i walk alone, or ride in palanquins of ebony and iron, hidden behind dark curtains and borne through the dark streets upon the backs of slaves.
And there are no children in Asshai. Warlocks, wizards, alchemists, moonsingers, red priests, black alchemists, necromancers, aeromancers, pyromancers, bloodmages, torturers, inquisitors, poisoners, godswives, night-walkers, shapechangers, worshippers of the Black Goat and the Pale Child and the Lion of Night, all find welcome in Asshai-by-the-Shadow, where nothing is forbidden.

“Daeron was spindly and round of shoulder, with a little belly that wobbled when he walked. Daemon stood straight and proud, and his stomach was flat and hard as an oaken shield. And he could fight. With axe or lance or flail, he was as good as any knight I ever saw, but with the sword he was the Warrior himself. When Prince Daemon had Blackfyre in his hand, there was not a man to equal him…”
Daemon I Blackfyre, the Black Dragon, the King Who Bore the Sword
(Wiki said Daemon wore armor of red and black plate, but I thought that making a majority of the armor red would be very striking)

[EDIT] Fixed the sword a bit and changed it to be warmer. Please reblog again for the non-crappy version! The Lannisters! God, this took forever. Designing the graphics on the bottom were a nightmare. Seems like I’ve shot myself in the foot by making this a thing. OH WELL. Semi-personal interpretation… I couldn’t NOT put a little of Peter Dinklage in there. Another one to go along with dear old Ned and House Stark. Also Jon Snow and Dany.

Lady Laena had inherited the beauty of a true Targaryen from her mother, Rhaenys, and a bold, adventurous spirit from her father, the Sea Snake. As Lord Corlys loved to sail, Laena loved to fly, and had claimed for her own no less a mount than mighty Vhagar, the oldest and largest of the Targaryen dragons since the passing of the Black Dread in 94 AC.
Lady Laena Velaryon, 93AC - 120AC, was the second wife of Prince Daemon Targaryen and mother to his daughters, the ladies Baela and Rhaena Targaryen
