So here's the plan!

Today, I'll be starting Act 5.2. I'll also be answering asks from the backlog that built up before the hiatus. This weekend, I'll be answering asks that built up during the hiatus - and starting next week, the liveblog will continue as normal. Let's get started!

Honestly, Vriska's up there. I imagine her popularity has a lot to do with her characterization, but we can't sleep on her design. She looks like everyone's most self-indulgent OC, and it's great.

Aradia has had several incarnations throughout the comic, and they all look cool as shit. I think my favorite is her OG ghost design - spooky, yet understated. It doesn't scream 'ghost' - at least, not to me - but once you know, you know.

Simplicity is elegance, and Jack/Slick's design proves that less is sometimes more.

And - in what is perhaps the comic's best example of the aforesaid adage - the most intimidating character in Homestuck has no facial features at all.

I think Aradia will vibe with Rose, another Derse girl being puppeteered by a shadowy agenda.

I honestly don't think Sollux would get on with any of them. He's similar to Dave in some ways, but Sollux is the type of person to find that infuriating. I guess he might bond a little with John, though - if he learns that the guy's a programming novice, he'll probably want to show off.

Nepeta would obviously get on with Jade, but once she learns about Davesprite, she'll probably start trying to roleplay with him. He's pretty much a living fursona, after all.

Vriska would freak everyone out, but I think Rose would have a lot of fun with her. I'd like to see her psychoanalyze that hot mess.

Pairing Gamzee or Equius with Dave would be pure comedy. He's probably the only one who'd actually enjoy the strange energy they bring to the table.

Eridan is obviously going to hit on all four of them - and I don't think any of them will suffer it for more than a single conversation.

Feferi's enthusiasm pairs best with John and Jade. She's destined to 'unite the two races', so maybe she'll 'officially' open communications with John, the session's nominal leader.
