in P4U2 is Adachi listed as The Jester or Hunger arcana? and also about his Arcana, which Arcana does he better fit under and how do the Arcanas relate to each other? could the Hunger be considered the opposite version of the Jester? and which one should be considered his true Arcana? Sorry if these are alot of questions

Adachi has not been added to the Arcade version yet (neither have any of the other new characters), so I can only go off what I have heard from people who have seen the livestream where he was play-tested, and they claim to have seen Jester Arcana used for him in that instance.

As for what Arcana he fits under, he fits both.

“Jester” is actually an alternate name for “Fool”

“Lust” (renamed to “Hunger” for the most pointless act of localization censorship that I’ve ever seen) is actually an alternate name for “Strength”.

They are the same Arcana, but the change in name highlights these Arcana’s negative aspects more than the positive aspects and they suit Adachi in that way. 

Fool/Jester, as Igor and Margaret explain often, stands for Beginnings, Endless Possibilities, but also emptiness. A “Fool” is someone who just walks out into the world to discover it naively, but a “Jester” is a trickster. This highlights the difference between Yu and Adachi; Yu accepted his new beginning and discovered it and its possibilities, fully open to what was to come; while Adachi was reluctant towards his new beginning, limiting his own possibilities due to his pre-held opinions regarding them, while still feigning the naive purity of the Fool towards everyone around him. As a result, Adachi railroaded his own “Fool Arcana”, his own “Wild Card” (if it could have been that) into an entirely negative meaning and path, simply due to his inflexible mindset that was only faking the flexibility it truly should have had. He halved his own potential and the half he got was not the half that would have been healthy for his personality’s development. He threw away “Endless Possibilities” and was left with “Emptiness”. 

“Lust” Arcana is a result of Adachi throwing away his “possibilities” and eventually settling into a certain “slot”, an archetype to be perceived as. Strength/Lust is the Arcana that stands for inner, untamed power, impulses, urges and sudden bursts of motivation or demotivation, that one has to control and stabilize with patience and courage to become a good person, however, while the name “Strength” implies a success in taming and controlling this power, “Lust“‘s name implies a failure.  Adachi failed to control his inner power, his urges and impulses, and just got torn away with them, going along with their flow, regardless of all reason and morality, reverting to doing what just came to him at the moment, even when that was the worst possible thing to do. Interestingly, listening to his backstory, it seems that in the past, when he was still studying, "Strength” might have actually been a quite fitting Arcana for him, since it seems that he was putting a lot of Patience and Diligence into working towards his future, albeit neglecting his emotional and psychological development as a person in doing so. Due to this misguided exhibition of “Strength”, he eventually lost and forfeited the patience and control, thus turning his “Strength” from a (mis)guided into an unguided one, and thus making “Lust” the much more fitting name for his Arcana, rather than “Strength”. 

If so, then why is his Arcana “Jester” again in P4U2? My guess is that its related to Yu’s statement that Adachi can still “start over”; He’s back at the zero-point, the crossroad, the path between Endless Possibilities and Emptiness. He is still closer to emptiness, still pessimistic, still hesitant towards the effort needed to seize the possibilities in front of him, but the choice is there again. It’s up to him if he goes down the better path this time… or just throws the towel right from the start once more and goes with Chaotic Evil Alignment yet again.
