it was around six forty nine am on a monday when you awoke, which was surprising, because you always woke up later than atsumu. the sun was especially blinding today and you had no choice but to open your eyes.

what a bother. now you couldn't go back to sleep. no matter how many times you tried to toss and turn to find the right position to fall back asleep in, your lethargy never found its way back.

beside you, was your husband, atsumu miya. sleeping soundly- okay that's a lie, he sleeps like a log and snores like a bear. his arms were tightly wrapped around your waist, and he buried his face in your stomach as you sat up.

shifting yourself back down to his level, you stared at his drowsy expression as drool began to drip down the side of his lip. chuckling, you wiped it away before placing a kiss onto his head. and another. and then another one. and another one after that.

"babe, yer killin' me with these kisses. its so early why are you awake?" he finally wakes up and rubs his eyes, staring up at your bewildered expression as you were caught in the act of kissing his face in his sleep.

"hmm i think the universe wanted me to wake you up this time, instead of that irritating alarm." giggling, you plant another kiss on the tip of his nose as he groans.

"what's wrong with my alarm?"

"what's wrong with me kissing my husband?" a short silence echoed in your bedroom, and atsumu rolls over on top of your body, and lays his head between your chest and huffs jokingly.

"i guess yer right. you should do it more so i wake up earlier." he rests his chin on your sternum and smiles mischievously, puckering his lips out towards you.

"and sacrifice my own sleep? i think not." you push him off before stretching your arms out, and getting out of your side of the bed to get ready for the day, only to be pulled back in by a pair of arms, positioning you in your previous place.

"then at least stay in bed with me for the whole mornin'." you stare up at him as he traps you between his arms beneath his body, with a cheeky smirk on his face.

grabbing his face, you kiss him lazily and smile, an indication that you were going to stay in bed for a few extra hours minutes. he responds and sits you up on his lap, returning your physical affection, before you pull away and grin at him.a short lived pause emits and the two of you stare earnestly at one another.

"wanna lay in my arms?"

"is that even a question?" you dove back in the sheets, and submerged yourself within the comforts of your husband's toned bicep, and embraced his waist with your arms as he tangles his legs with yours.

"i love mondays." he sighs.

"no you don't."

"yer right i don't. but i love mondays with you."

"that's so cheesy i don't want to cuddle anymore."

"wait come back i was jus' jokin' baby." he laughs, with the sound reverberating in the room, pulling you back in his arms again.
