I really like the idea/theory of Dandelo being the male of the IT species in their closest physical forms (Todash monster of some sort) and Pennywise being the female. If you compare the two based on how they were defeated, it fits well with how actual arthoropods function. Females being stronger and dominant while the males are weak.

one of the best dialogue of the two movies is when pennywise confronts bill in the first movie alone and starts to taunt him by screaming that it has tasty georgie on my breath´´ and it got a belly full of blood and im just here fucking asking myself wtf it got cut
