A Quiet, Peaceful Place

Request for: A beautiful and peaceful day in the walls and so Levi and the reader go out on a date. Lots of fluff and Levi being soft for the reader.

A/n: Thank you to the Anon who requested this, I thoroughly enjoyed writing it and fluffy imagines are my therapy from the pain of watching aot. I hope this makes the Anon and anyone who reads it happy (:

A soft breeze wove its way through the window, airing the room. The day was rather spectacular, with clear blue skies and the sun shining down. The second you’d seen such a remarkable day you wanted nothing more than to be out in it instead of inside. When you’d voiced that thought to Levi, he seemed to take a moment to think before asking you to meet him by the stables close to lunch. That would give you both enough time to do at least some work in the morning before embarking on whatever Levi’s plan was.

By the time you’d changed into more casual clothes and neared the stables, you could see Levi waiting and petting his horse affectionately. The sight always made you smile; he often took moments after expeditions to express gratitude to his horse like this. With you nearing closer, he turned his attention towards you, eyes lighting up slightly.

“I thought we could have a picnic.”

Your smile widened at the idea and it was then you noticed the extra saddlebag tied to the horse. “If I knew that, I would have brought something to contribute.”

Levi shook his head, stepping closer while he said, “You being here is more than enough.”
