I just had another Destiny prophecy dream… And oh Light, is this one a ride.

The whole time in this dream, I was a Sunbreaker Titan that looked like a very thin Shaxx with the Tangled Shore Hunter cloak

In this dream-universe, the Vault of Glass was a ring of floating Vex debris and shifting jungle above the Traveller, filled with alien life that died repeatedly because the area was so inhospitable. The Vex there studied death and time fuckery.

I remember one Fireteam member in that mission had the ability to pause time around them, and they used that REALLY well in the Vault itself. Parts of it shifted through time like the anomalies on Mars, flipping between Golden Age, Collapse, the Dark Age, and the current time- the City Age.

There was a version of the Enclave on Earth, accessed from a cave on a remote beach. Went in and found a spinning tablet that said go to the Moon.

Managed to get a lore expert on my Fireteam to investigate the Terran Enclave, and together, we ran to the depths of Luna. The first half of the adventure was Vex themed because that loadzone was for something else…

Found blue, glass-like Vex walls that disappeared when you looked at them. Weird… Navigated the corridors. The lore expert doubted me because the mission was in an area where I had an incomplete quest…

But we got to the end of that quest and fought a Lightbearing Taniks with a Burning Maul. For some reason, Taniks didn’t have any armor- so we were basically fighting a four-armed robot skeleton with a flaming mallet. Once we killed naked!Taniks, I got a Gravlance with a special skin and (I think?) a Patience In Time.

An in-game cutscene of the VoG boys and the Kentarch 3 played that showed they had met once and encountered Quria, dying horribly to the Blade Transform and being shot to their respective Vex lairs, from which the canon events played out.

After that, a Deepsight bridge appeared next to the boss platform, leading to an area that had the vibes of the tunnels in the Throneworld (icky and orange). It was a really cramped 3-person secret quest- that you accessed via another quest!

Basically I loaded into the Vex secret quest from patrol, beat it, and walked into the Hive quest from the Vex end loadzone without going to orbit!

There was a debuff throughout the main combat encounter called “Drowning in Darkness”- Basically you had to cycle between Fireteam members to kill a special Knight that gave the whole team immunity, but if you killed it, you couldn’t kill it again until a timer ran out.

In order to advance through the rooms, you had to enter this weird vacuum tube system made of flesh and fangs that spit you out in another chamber. You had to jump between three chambers to beat the encounter, killing the special Knight three times in each chamber in order to buy enough time for the debuff.

After the combat encounter, we ran through more tunnels, avoiding an illusory Shade of Oryx. A Shade of Savathûn confronted us in the final chamber, and tried to trap us with Hive runes. I deciphered them before they exploded, opened the mission end-chest, and cleared the activity.

The lore of the activity was about Savathûn’s actions as a trainee of Rhulk (the shade even had the spiky collar like him). It detailed the fall of the Scarlet Keep, and Savathûn’s use of the Taken.

Special highlights from the dream:

I talked vocally to the Terran Enclave’s weird spinny tablet thing and apologized for rushing it

The activity-end chests had to be shot in an order that Savathûn had shown for a split second (or deciphered from Hive runes, which is what I did)

At one point, my team just started shitposting about cheese? We were in a tunnel that reminded them of a cheese cellar and they just started screaming CHEESE as we were being chased by Thralls and exploding worms that burrowed up from the floor

The special Gravlance was from a Guardian Games quest that I managed to complete during the Taniks encounter by doing a shitload of damage to a boss without dying. The Patience In Time came from completing the Vex quest.
