Fritz Lang really had the nerve to put Edward G. Robinson in a frilly apron expecting him to be emasculated or whatever, but jokes on you idiot, it just made him even more of a babygirl for the modern day freaks such as myself!! Too bad the movie was too afraid to capitalize on it and it had a very terrible drawn out ending and that is why Scarlet Street (1945) will never be as good as The Woman in the Window (1944), despite having almost the exact same cast. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Anyway I just really wanted to draw Penny and Clyde as the characters from the movie, mostly Clyde, because he is an Edward G. Robinson expy after all and I thought he would look really cute being a malewife. He has malewife energy.
I’m still struggling with figuring out Penny’s hair to keep it era appropriate, but still have it resemble the character. Also I know the robes are not her style either. It feels like something she’d borrow from Dick’s closet, because he would have one of those cunty “Oh I didn’t kill my husband Mr. Officer” types of outfits haha~
I’m shy….. even on my own BLOG
