“I'm leaving this place. It's just full of horrible memories, I hate it.” you explained, immediately start walking away from your friend, your partner.

You looked behind, his eyes filling up with tears, his face full of sadness and anger.

“n-name, it's not your fault.”

“It is, isn't it?”

“No i-it's not, so please don't leave me here alone.” he cried, avoiding your gaze by looking down.

Chuuya wanted to stop you from leaving him, leaving his life. But he knew he didn't had the right to stop you, it was your decision. You start walking away from him, your heart slowly filling with guilt. Were you supposed to feel this?

“I'm sorry, Chuuya.”

Few years has passed, your life was better, and you deciced to go back to Yokohama. You wandered around in the streets of Yokohama, seeing how different it looks from back then. You decided to buy some snacks, and you did! While on the walk you weren't focus, and accidentally bumped a person. You immediately stand up to your feet, picking up his hat and gave him a hand. Why does this person feel so familiar? Who is he?

He gladly took your hand and stood up. Before you hand him his hat, he looks at you, face full of shock.

“Name, is that you?” he asked looking at you closely, his eyes widening. Your face was full of confusion, wondering how the hell did he knew you? You guys never met before??

“Excuse me, do i know you?” you replied by giving another question, where you see his slightly change of emotion on his face, an annoyance look and slight sadness. Every word was a knife, and every cut stabbed the heart. The sudden of realisation that you always forget horrible memories, and in which you forgot about him. He's one of your horrible memories. The realisation made his heart aching, hurting.

“S-sorry about that..” he stuttered, his tone was breaking, his face was filling with tears. Before you even reached his hands to pull him, he ran away. You were gonna ask why was he crying? What did you do to him? Is he someone to you? Is he one of the memories you forgot?

That night was your partner’s birthday, Dazai Osamu. It was expected that Port Mafia came in party today, since your boyfriend was a Port Mafia former executive, well you wouldn't say a former maybe, a traitor?

The place was crowded, filled with chatting and so on. Wine, Food, People, everywhere. You like to be a part of this celebration but you weren't a fond of alcohol. That's true, you weren't fond of it but somehow you're in a drunk state. You walk out onto the balcony with a bottle of wine in your right hand, the cool breeze hits you, the moon is shining, the night is sure beautiful. Your gaze met a tall, brown haired figure whos leaning against the railing. His face was blurred, you couldn't see well who is it.

“The moon is beautiful, isn't it?” the figure chuckled, his eyes meeting yours.

You blinked few times, slowly taking your steps to him. His face was shown unblurred, under the moonlight making him look.. better. Words couldn't rate him, he really is your everything. His gaze changed looking at the wine you are holding.

“Name, I think that's enough wine for today-” before he finished his sentence while trying to take it from your hand, your body lean closer to his, your head falling on his chest. He looked down at you, your eyes half opened. His lips forming a smile, hands wrapping around your waist. He hummed, resting his chin on top of your head, enjoying this small moment. Few moments later, he decided to bring back inside since the weather was getting colder. His hand wrapping around your shoulder, walking you to the door. Before both of you reached inside, you pin him against a wall. He was a little startled at your action, but he was fine after. His brown eyes looking at you while you return looking at him. The wine that was at your hand was gone, and right now your hand are now holding his chin, caressing his bottom lip. The brown haired was speechless with your sudden boldness move, but a smile forming on his lips. You slowly moves even closer to him, until your lips eventually touch his own. His smile seems to grow as the two of you share a soft, warm, loving kiss with each other, his hands once again wrapping around your waist as the two of you share a very sweet and romantic moment together. Both of you let go of the kiss, where your face was even redder then earlier. Your head resting on his chest, mumbling out a sentence.

“Happy birthday, dummy.”

An ordinary night where Dazai, Odasaku and Ango hang out together at the Lupin Bar. Talking about their work activities that they done today while drinking together. Dazai always look more ‘alive’ when he’s with them. Life never felt much alive when they are together, chattering, drinking together. Dazai smiled looking at Odasaku and Ango talking about work, suddenly he joins in the conversation.

“Wanna know what I did today?!” he asked to them, his amber eyes beaming full of excitement to tell.

Seeing this, Odasaku and Ango looked at eachother then nodded their head as an answer. Dazai’s smile widen seeing at their answer, starting to ramble about it.

“I got a partner for now and he's Chuuya Nakahara from-” he explained to them, which Odasaku and Ango is interested in hearing. Dazai has never been this happier seeing someone, no, people willingly to listen him ramble about his day. He wishes the night could continue and never stop, he doesn't want this moment to stop. After he rambles about his day, Ango talks about his, so did Odasaku. It was the best night ever.

Dazai sighed, which got the attention of both of them, they looked at him slightly concerned. Dazai smiled at them,

“I wish the night continues. I never had anyone listen to me talk..” he sighed, suddenly Odasaku’s hand on his shoulder, patting it.

“I’m glad I listened to you.” Odasaku replied, softly smiling at Dazai. Ango seeing them having a ‘father-son’ interaction, a smile formed on his lips. Why couldn't the night just last forever?

Odasaku looked at Dazai, his hand still resting on Dazai’s shoulder.

“But it's time for you to wake up.”

Dazai hearing those words, his eyes slightly widen, his face giving a confused look.

Before Dazai asked what Odasaku meant, his eyes opened, his body waking up from his sleeping position which is on top of his desk. He looked around, he was in the office, it was all a just dream. You were sitting beside his desk, a smile on your lips.

“Ah, you’re finally awake!”

“Did you do that..?”

He asked, looking down, tears forming in his eyes. You could only smile at his question, shooking your head.

“Who knows?” you replied, seeing his tears finally flowing out of his eyes.

He could only cry knowing it was just a dream. Happiness doesn't stay forever, huh?
