I cannot give the photographic credit, but that is Ko-san in performance mode. He is missed.

Some time ago our fathers vomited forth on this continent a new kind of havoc, a new nation conceived in drunken greed and dedicated to the delusion that all men (and only the “fairest” men) are created equal.
Then, as now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that pathetic nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure it's own existence.
We are met on a blood soaked, offal stinking battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might have something to talk about later- over drinks before the sporting match begins. The cheapness of their lives notwithstanding, it is altogether fitting and proper that we should put ourselves through these superficial paces.
But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. The diluted citizens, living and dead, who pointlessly struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our utterly insufficient power to add or detract.
The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, and it will inevitably forget what they did here.
It is for us the sorry living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work of vain madness which they who fought here have thus far so wretchedly advanced. It is rather for us to be here pathetically dedicated to the great task remaining before us
-- that from these nameless dead we take increased devotion to that ill-founded cause for which they gave the last full measure of misguided devotion
-- that we here would highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain; though we know they certainly have
-- that this corruptible nation, under any truly righteous higher power, must make an end of itself
-- and that government of the greedy, by the corporations, for the money, must needs perish in ignominy from this ravaged earth.
