“I'd understand if he was angry and wanted to ensure the Marcanos didn’t kill anymore, but the Hutts? They deal with everyone, and if there’s a chance they dealt with his killers...”
She stops a second shaking her head “I gotta go find him. Make sure he’s away from the edge. I don’t know how much the Hutts know to provide...but I bet they’ll do anything to keep him leashed.”
She started to gather her things and mentally makes a plan to go to Tatooine trying to figure out the fastest route there. Shima may not have known how to those responsible, but there had to be options. She knows Lincoln needs this, but she wants to make sure he has this the right way.

“So would you be so bold to say it’s better if Carter and Kendra never meet?”
“Given his track history, he is dependent on fate’s tides, so who’s to say what could happen if he tries to search for her, whatever shade he decides to wear?”
“I don’t think there’s such a thing as a permanent fate. You’re right, they didn’t choose this life. But what if instead of fighting against that life, you use it to your advantage in helping them. Don't adapt to it, make it adapt to you. Use it to help others
“There’s always a place to go, you just don’t know what it is yet.”

“You know, Stormtroopers, they’re just… people. They don’t deserve to have to fight this war just because they were given to the Order, or taken by force, even. They deserve to be able to have lives of their own, like anyone does.”
“I chose this, though. I don’t have anywhere else to go, now. I’m stuck for life.”

For @warringpeace‘s Scarlett Morningstar

She thanked the barista as the order was being made. The coffee shop was busying with people coming and going. Some staying and chatting, Dana stayed in the corner with her Lucie, a grey pitbull with an adorable grin on her face as she watched people. The order was simple, one black coffee for Dana, and a puppichino for Lucie. While this was Dana’s first coffee in the united states for the first time in so long, this would be Lucie’s very first puppichino in any kind of cafe.
In the UK, the two of them would’ve embodied the definition of ‘tough’. Dana with her all-black and black eyepatch covering her left, while Lucie would’ve terrified anyone simply for the breed she chose to blend in. While neither of them didn’t really care about how they were perceived, it was a nice change here; in the states, where she really born. She wasn’t home yet, but it was a start and this was a nice yet simple reward.
She stayed near the counter, as the sight in the one uncovered eye is crappy on this day. It only made sense that when she grabbed her order that she could tell there was only supposed to be one hot drink and one drink. But there were two each of her hands and immediately she felt something was up.
“What the--?” She trailed off as she held up the cup, squinting as she tried to read the name on the cup, hoping that the person who ordered it originally was still here.
“Scarlett?” She called aloud looking around. “Is there a Scarlett still here?”

“Not gonna lie, she sounds like a Dumb Dora,” She admits as she opened the lid for the puppichino.
As she mentioned before, everyone had their bad days. It didn’t make sense to take it out on someone who had nothing to do with it. She’s found it better to have an outlet to let it out so that it’s never released for the wrong reasons. Back in Britain, her outlet was her missions in the MI5, breaking teeth. Now that she retired, she figured she should find one of a...productive nature. She had mused
“When I say Dumb Dora, I mean to call her stupid,” She explained, hoping to clarify the rare usage of slang as Lucie began to lick the contents in the cup excitedly. For a moment, the sweet whipped cream was all the hound thought of. After licking the cup clean, not to mention licking any off her snout, the hound smelled the heavenly and the infernal again.
She smelled it coming off the woman, as sweet as she looked. Wagging her tail as the infernal reminded her of her old home, she not only sniffed the woman but also licked her hand.
“Her name’s Lucie,” Dana answered, somewhat eased by this interaction. She didn’t see any harm in her, and she patted Lucie’s head.
“And my name’s Dana, it’s nice to meet you, Miss...?”

“Dividing and conquering? It’s worth a shot, so here’s hoping.”
She looked back at the one called Cody. Here was a man, no more than a remnant of a war that seemed like yesterday. A war that felt like it ended today, only to pave way for another that would bring an end to everything. In a way of uncertainty. Anytime the future seemed uncertain, somehow friends could be found to help through with the troubled times. For now, she sees Cody as a potential friend.
And she hopes with them, she can make sure Lincoln stays her friend. And she’s gonna need a lot of hope, because of the feeling that it may not be enough to help him. Walking to a shelf, she rummages through until she finds a blaster.
“In case, your lightsaber and Jedi tricks don’t work in certain situations.”
She says this as she tosses the blaster to Kenobi. A gift to a friend before they partake in journey of the unknown. She looks to Cody.
“You gonna be ok with all this?”

“Well…Shit…”
